Dave's preference is just very specific. Tangy sauce, audibly crispy crust, as thin as possible, no weird cheese, mix of part skim with the whole milk mozz to cut down on grease, owners can butter him up, if the pizzeria is a long established legendary joint it boosts his score a lot, also... Boston.

Anything in Asshole gets an automatic 1 point bump added to their score. Ive tried a Mass 7 according to Dave and it was the most mid pizza I've ever had.

I eat pizza from this place all the time. Its definitely my favorite in the area. Every part of the pizza is seperately good. The cheese is good, the dough is good, and the sauce is good. The owners are really nice people too. Everyone in the area loves this place. I was kinda dissapointed that he didn't think it was anything special, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
He just doesn't like Neopolitan or "football pizza" as much as "bar pie". It's rare to see him score pizza like this much higher than a 7.5.

My gpa owned Colonia Dairy Maid for years. He sold it about 15-20 yrs ago at this point. The pizzeria that occupied the bldg before pizza time was superb. Every Friday night we'd go to their house and he'd come home with food from there and everyone's fav ice cream. Those were the days.

I always get ice cream from Colonia Dairy. Never got the pizza from this place but always saw it. It closed down recently.

You should do La Buona pizza in Sewaren NJ.. (part of Woodbridge) .. their thin crust is my favorite in the area.. also Pinos in Woodbridge is decent (thin crust)

Damn Bellinis Italian Restaurant, (which is now closed) is pretty much right around the corner from Pizza Time (which is a new place called JJ’s now) had some of the best pizza and sandwiches around at that time you went. Unfortunate he said Pizza Time so random

Pizza Tyme was great 7 years ago I would take my son there on Saturdays. Unfortunately the quality went down and they closed for good after Covid.
You think might these vids are all about pizza, but what he's really doing is community service work. He's sewing the fabric of America back together one pizza stitch at a time by peacefully interacting with and getting to know his friendly fellow citizens of the USA. Perhaps one day, Dave's face will be featured and honored on every pizza box within America.
