Art Aspire Maybe she doesn’t do it because she can’t do it all the time. If you are gonna put hard notes in a song at least have some control. Mariah, Ariana, Demi, Tori, Christina, SoHyang and many other singers have hard notes in their song that extend from G5 to the 7th Octave but it’s not a stretch since they know how to hit the notes they put in their studio without much struggle and without CONSTANT dodging.

I appreciate that each of these singers are singing live! Love it! Singers are humans and vocal chords are a powerful, temperamental instrument, even with the best training.
Tbh I hate the studio version of Stone Cold so much because of that 'Her'. I honestly wish the live version she did for the Billboard awards was the single.
From a male vocalist, Gary LeVox from rascal flatts sings an impossible line in "Here comes goodbye" at the end of the bridge before guitar solo when he smashes out the line here comes goodbye & holds that note incredibly long with such a beautiful powerful voice. Definitely the best male vocalist I've ever heard. It sucks that they get no radio play in Australia. As far as I know I'm the only Aussie Flatts fan
So Hyang is the only singer in the world who can sing it live better than she recorded it .... because she does it consistently as 90% of her performances are live .. and she doesnt break a sweat all the way to D6
Richard Gamache she can sing and belt notes better for sure but she isnt better she doesnt have a good tone like all these singers here. She sounds like the typical asian singer “voice wise” but her range is incredible
But for example,Ariana sings higher Live and take risks. I think we should more acclame singers that take risks than the ones that just dont. Like So Hyand never tried a C6 in chest voice while Ariana did try, So Hyang doesnt take risks som
I think people really forget how HARD singing live is, and also how much vocal strain it puts on singers to strain their voices night after night. Sure they can warm up, but it’s a burden on their vocals. Singer like Adele, Gaga, Cyndi Lauper - all great singers, all had vocal issues (nodules, etc). Knocking out a high chest note in the studio - a controlled, comfortable setting (and can also be electronically pitched up from a lower note, if needed) is so different from doing it in a live concert. They’re probably protecting their voices by not belting. Kesha could probably do the head voice note fine, but I imagine it’s a bit tricky if you’ve not warmed it up - then again, Kylie minogue hits a controlled Eb6 in Locomotion live, with good vibrato, so it’s not impossible... Also the whole C#5 stuff - they’re not hard notes to sing if they’re in your range. If they’re hard to sing and not in your register, then signing them is probably not a good idea! To me, a singer’s tone and phrasing is so much more important than how high they can sing or how much they can embellish a melody - the beauty is so often in the uniqueness of the person’s voice or the particular way they use it, not the notes they sing.
@Justine Sapiera y'all haters only base to her past perfomances,,she improved a lot in terms of hitting the bb5 belt. Stay pressed And who's listening to m*ri*h btw?
All the singers are dancing and moving on stage but even if they are not, in the studio version they can practice the note many times before getting it right so i dont see the problem in going lower or trying the note in a different way.
christina is a force of nature even if people who can hit higher than her sign with her they won't be heard when aguilera goes all out cause of her powerful voice
Cher's ballad "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me" was a showstopper in the movie BURLESQUE. But she's never been able to successfully sing it live. She was a no show for performing it on the Golden Globes where it won Best Song. She eventually cut it from the set list of her live show after continuously failing at attempts to do it live. It's on TH-cam and it's rough...
I JUST reached my goal of an A5, but RARELY hit it Bc I don’t wanna kill my voice. It’s taken years of training. It’s so fun reaching goals like this tho. But it takes a while to hit these notes and when you do you don’t wanna push it.
i can’t blame some of these singers, as if you attempted these, you could fail miserably and the internet would literally taunt you about it every second
pissant She’s on par with her. I don’t like that comparison because at the end of the day we Lambs personally say yes.... but for me, I choose to say they are tied for #1.
Singing higher belts while moving and dancing is very hard so obviously they crack or dodge or do something else. The also have to sing almost every day on tour so its better to play safe.
1. They can get the notes But They are All on Their Own tours, and do you know how much they have to sing? No wonder why when they preform at Live events or a award ceremony they will sing but not really sing All the notes because they need to save up for the tour's! 2. Some of the notes are Actually a little bit Altered by Producers to make it better than it was recorded originally, because for example, in fall in Line with Xtina and Demi, all of a sudden Demi Belts a High G, and a Super High A. So the problem is that she hit it but then they tweaked it up so it could sound even better. She has a capable voice to hit the notes, in the song, But she still knows how difficult it is to just Hit the transition to the belted Up notes of her part. So im just saying that. 3. You know that they are nominated music artists and they are well deserved winners of musical awards and achievements in the industry for a very good reason why. Obviously they have been gifted with incredible talent for music. So im just saying that a lot of this is possible but it's not really realistic because we don't see it live all the time. But to expect a singer to Be well rested every time to belt these kinds of notes is just not realistic at all, especially when live on tv or something like that or even sometimes on tour too. But on record, they have masterful mixes of the songs that producers use. So im just saying its not always realistic to expect the same kinds of notes off of the record because they can't always do it. But I don't care, a lot of the singers are Iconic and legendary and talented in general so I don't mind if they dodge notes.
Oscar Landgren whistle is like a disconnected note from all the others unlike super head voice which is connected and most opera singers can hit. Ariana can belt head voice without struggling but it's extremely hard for her and her technique is not perfect for these notes yet that's why she might damage her vocal cords. On the other hand Mariah can hit whistle register like it's nothing. Anyways i'm a lamb but i respect both artist because Ari is the voice of the generation.
Lmao, no, Demi has three whole fan made videos (with 5+ minutes each) of her hitting higher notes than the studio version and even adding runs and riffs.

One note lower for every other singers on here then comes Ariana taking it a step higher even tho it's already really high to begin with lmao
Why you never put demi's best vocals :(
Because she has no good vocals
Panda Man the fact you said that makes me think you have never seen a demi's live performance
Panda Man Demi is a great singer, idk if we are talking about the same Demi though.
Panda Man sure honey that's why she's consider one of the best vocalist of this new generation.. you tried it and fail next
'cause this channel prefers some artists only
I laughed at Mariah when you said she had so many skills to dodged the notes, you pretty joker right there! ahahaha
I didn’t even know Kesha can go that high 😂😂 now I wonder how many Nodules did she grow while trying to record that note
Pincai Swift She said it took her like ten takes to hit that note in the studio
all she did was scream into the microphone. if you think it’s whistle notes/tones, it’s not
Madison Skye you’re stupid :)
It was literally screaming you can tell at the beginning of the note
vincent jimenez that’s not a scream dumb shit
4:42 I would've killed to hear that note live
But if it didn't happen in 2001-07 it'll never happen
Ariana: hits A5
Me: *sticks tounge out* yes bitchh 👅🤣
I hate ariana
Ava Sarkies well that’s your opinion that you aren’t entitled to share.
+Ava Sarkies you are a little girl who don't know herself and don't love it that's why you think you hate her lol
+Ava Sarkies didn't do much besides describing you better than you could do but really tho start learning some self-esteem and self-love from now so you can go through life much easier xoxo
Cookie Cat2 she entitled to share just like everyone else is. Back off
Demi kills it every time she sings Stone Cold live. That song is pure goosebumps all the way through!
A G#5 after a crescendo is too technical for her. You can tell how much strain she had to hit that note in studio
Same!! I could hear how strained it was. My own throat was aching just listening lol
Crazy, I said the same thing. I watch the live one all the time
Demi lovato😘😍😰
#LovaticForEver
well ariana grande hit higher notes before live
Mariah's voice id enough. She sounds like Heaven is getting nearer. #LEGEND #QUEEN
Thanks for everything you’re doing for us, great video!!
Take care, wish you all the best!! 😊
Mariah she so cute 😂😂😂
Im so happy Kesha finally gets to show off her awesome voice
I don't like Ariana Grande but damn does she have a voice.
i thought youre going to put the high note on christina's "Beautiful"
KESHA WITH THE F6 😍
To me, a singer’s tone and phrasing is so much more important than how high they can sing or how much they can embellish a melody - the beauty is so often in the uniqueness of the person’s voice or the particular way they use it, not the notes they sing.
demi 😍❤
Demi Temming demi lovato the best
KE$HA DID THE F6 at One World, Together At Home
Technicaly, mariah carry is the highest singer ever.
Dimash can go up to D8
@Justine Sapiera but mariah didn't even hit a b5 or Bb5(belting) in her whole career so....
@Justine Sapiera y'all haters only base to her past perfomances,,she improved a lot in terms of hitting the bb5 belt. Stay pressed
And who's listening to m*ri*h btw?
@@cl7717 yes mariah didn't hit Bb5 or B5 in mixed voice, BUT ATLEAST MARIAH STILL HAVE AMAZING LOW RANGE & HEAD VOICE.
nah i am on a saturday eating my special brownies iykyk
All the singers are dancing and moving on stage but even if they are not, in the studio version they can practice the note many times before getting it right so i dont see the problem in going lower or trying the note in a different way.
Kesha doesnt even look like the Kesha I remember
Oops yeah
0:08 YES KESHA FUCKING SLAY MY QUEEN
Christina aguilera can reach an f#6 whenever she wants
Clemente Ruiz but she can never belt an F#5 😉😉
christina is a force of nature even if people who can hit higher than her sign with her they won't be heard when aguilera goes all out cause of her powerful voice
Clemente Ruiz more like a D6 nowadays
Daniel Ng She belted F#5 in Lady Marmalade, So Emotional, Genie in a Bottle and I Turn to You live
Every name I wanted was too long Her F6 in Let There Be Loved in one of her recent concerts sound so easy for her
LMFAO MARIAH. I died at "yeah yeah yeah version" and "dobodobodo version"
Am I the only one expecting to see Brendon Urie in here 🙃
I saw Demi, I screamed with joy🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😆😆😆😆😆
How is Ariana so amazing omg...and honestly some of the dodged notes like the first one sound just as good as the original ngl😍❤️
But it takes a while to hit these notes and when you do you don’t wanna push it.
ariana slays the crap outta that a5
i can’t blame some of these singers, as if you attempted these, you could fail miserably and the internet would literally taunt you about it every second
Mariah Carey is the best was the best and always will be the best forever! These Disney princesses don’t have a thing on Mariah!
Zachariah Ruark are you saying she’s better than whitney houston?
@@pissant2942 yes
yep she is the best.
@@pissant2942 Um, duh.
pissant She’s on par with her. I don’t like that comparison because at the end of the day we Lambs personally say yes.... but for me, I choose to say they are tied for #1.
Demi Lovato impressed me, she has a beautiful voice in 4:56
Demi and Ariana beat young vocalist today
Tori Kelly ? Jojo ? Amber Riley ?
Compare Dimash Kudaibergen who can reach D8 live? Six Octave man?
@@anistardi Yeah, by these kind of videos I always think about him. But he is in a different league.
@@anistardi Dimash only has the range but he rarely support above A4 lol
You have listened Dimash sing Omni Pietra?
For One Last Time is it a G#5 or A5 cuz I'm getting confused
Jeffrey Still In the song it's a G#5 but Ariana decided to sing the song one seminote higher so it became A5
00:42 she does it really well 😍
Kesha won't do the note live, as it took her 10 tries to hit it in studio.
Singing higher belts while moving and dancing is very hard so obviously they crack or dodge or do something else. The also have to sing almost every day on tour so its better to play safe.
the one last time thing is a background vocal so that doesn’t really matter tbh
You can’t always expect them to hit that note every single time they sing it but they give it a real good go
that note on Praying is a note not a whistle tone...she said her self she spent a lot of time in the studio trying to hit it, and she hit it only once
The “yeah yeah yeah” version and the “dodododobo” version 😂😂😂 I’m ded💀
Part 2 please
I love Kesha OML
1:58 this is the new version baby! Look at Summertime Ball! 🤫🤔🤗
Demi killed all the singer with her vocals 👌👌😍😍😍
It's is 12 am and I got a horror movie commercial, I'm sweating
Only Mariah is able to sing even higher live than the studio version. ❤️
Ariana Grande Butera Ariana is amazing and super talented and i love her, but she can't hit whistle register like Mariah does successfully even at 47!
I love Leblanc and that's the reason Mariah's voice is now on the heaven :(
GamingWith Isaac the real reason is she has nodules since she was a kid and darling she still can sing she just want some rest
