Really appreciate that you said nothing, just showed how to do it! Most guys yak the whole time, drives me nuts!

Thanks so much. Like Joel I was having trouble putting the box back in. The wires didn't reach. This was because I had reinstalled the backing plate with the wires going the wrong direction. Your video showed the correct routing. Really helped!

If you just twist the two white knobs the fuse panel drops down. No need to remove the glove box.

Thank you for the great video. Made my wire routing for my dash cam behind the glove box much easier.

I should be able to get to the resistor from there right?

    Dont mis-lead people please!!
You do this ONLY if you need to get to relays, Not for fuses. Just turn those white knobs 90 degrees to reach fuses from inside the glove box, you DO NOT need to take the glove box out!!

I have a 2008 X3si. I just spent time twisting the two white knobs into every position possible and tried everything I could think of to get the panel hiding the fuses to release. Never got it to work. What am I missing?

Just FYI. On my 2011 X3 there is two cover panels that pop out to get to the fuses. They are at the back upper section of the glovebox. FYI Pull the glovebox out to really be able to get to the fuses! What a pain in the back side I must say.

Indeed. I was trying to check my fuse, and found the fuse panel was hidden inside glove box. Stupid design.

As remarked by Honest Dad, this is absolutely not necessary to access the fuses. Rotate 90° the white knobs, that's all.
Anyway I needed a visual guide to remove the glove box, so this video is at least useful. I wonder what's the function of the connector on left side of glove box, it's parked in a plastic tap.

But for accessing the RELAY panel this is absolutely necessary! Thank you!
