I hate how they award their sons privacy form the public eye but their daughters are always being thrusted into the limelight. They even edited true's complexion to make her seem lighter. Sick.
I remember from season 7 of kuwtk Kim was saying how her mom knew how to raise girls and that was her thing. Kris didn't know how to market rob. Then he got depressed for years and stayed out the public eye. They don't want the same to happen with their sons because they also don't know how to market them. If you really think about it, the lack of strong father figures and brothers is clear. Kris lost her dad young and he was in her life for a short time. She didn't have a brother. Then having so many daughters amongst one son who also lost their father early in life. Bruce was scared of Kris and was very compliant with her. He's not the typical macho strong father figure imo. Anyway they're still trash for putting the kids in the limelight.

It’s just kind of strange to me because I’m a girl and I’m much more connected to and attached to my mom than my dad. Her issues are based within development psychology. You’re off here because it’s much more complex than most understand. I studied psychology at uni. and Khloe’s issues are deeply rooted in in things not at all tied to men (even though much of it comes out in her being in the same context as a man/men).
I will never forget when Kim was venting to khloe about kanye’s exhausting demands for skin tone matching band aids. Khloe’s literally sided with Kanye co-signed Kanye’s demands and said that Kim should drop everything to find a bandage that matched Kanye’s skin tone.
Thank goodness someone brought it up! Not bonding with your baby after surrogacy is an actual possibility. I don't watch or like the Karadasions, but this is a real, valid issue she's having. Most people just won't admit it to save face, but it's a really delicate issue. Everyone bashing her is disgusting. I don't like her, but I'm glad she brought this up to start the conversation that needs to be addressed and not stigmatized.
I think the fact that she was mostly preoccupied with Tristan's cheating and baby scandal has something to do with it. She herself said she wasn't really thinking much about the baby until she was basically called to come collect him at the hospital when it was time for him to be delivered. It also sounds like she's didn't have much of a relationship with the surrogate during the pregnancy. I've even heard of surrogates popping in to check on the family & baby after delivery cause a relationship has been formed but it seems that didn't happen in this case hence it felt transactional. I'm not denying any of what you said but I think those things I mentioned also contributed to her lack of connection with her son.
Sometimes even women that gave birth to their own children struggle to develop a bond with them and suffer from post partum depression. The problem is not surrogacy, itself.
I honestly think Khloe’s perspective could be inherited from Tristan or her upbringing. Sounds like she wanted a boy from the get-go and that could be bc Tristan really wanted to have a boy. I think it's really good that she had discussed how transactional the surrogacy situation felt. A lot of time surrogates will feel dehumanized because of the way that the parents treat them like a commodity so it’s refreshing to hear someone talk about how transactional it feels as the parent to the child
Bonding takes time. I gave birth to my kids, and it still took a while for me to come around. I can empathize with her on that front, but that's all the grace I can extend to her. I don't care for that family
I was thinking this too. My mom and I have an amazing relationship and she had opened up to me about how it took her a few months to feel connected to me. If she can feel like that even though carried me for 9 months I think it can definitely happen to someone who chose surrogacy. we should give more patience towards khloe.
I personally think, based on what you said, I feel like khloe feels like she is taking care of one of his mistress kids. Khloe might subconsciously view the baby as not hers but one of his baby mama kids. As she never carried the baby, and she feels detached from the child, bearing in mind he was having another child with another woman who physically carried her own baby, it could be that in her subconscious, she feels like the baby is his that he had with another woman and she is having to take care of it. So that could possibly be another reason she feels detached from the child.

My daughter was born 2 weeks after True in the same hospital. The staff said the experience of Khloe being there was crazy/ exhausting. Please do a video on surrogacy, it’s so dangerous just like egg donations. Women who donate multiple times have increased for cancer. Women who are surrogates have an increase in preeclampsia and placenta issues.
I think the issues with Tristan are why she doesnt have a connection. Kim had a connection easily because she had the support of her husband and even though she wasnt carrying those children she prepared for their arrival and was always communicating with the surrogate and going to Drs appointments with her. Khloe on the other hand was soo focused on the Tristan drama she didnt even have the nursery ready until right before he was born and if i remember correctly, Kylie was the one who bought the stuff and had it set up. All those little things help to get you in the mindset of the baby is coming. When you watch her interviews on the show the only time she talks about the baby is either relating it back to the Tristan drama (ex "people are going to think i planned to get pregnant after the other woman") or it's about how she's unprepared and can't believe he'll be here soon. It gives the vibe of knowing the date of your final but being so focused on other things in life that the night before you realize you haven't studied anything. Of course it's going to feel transactional because you're not mentally prepared.
Omg, the way Khloe talks about her kids makes me feel sick... Those poor babies. You can tell how badly she was raised when she was jealous of her own daughter before she was even born. And talking about not feeling connected to her son on TV, where he'll probably watch it one day... Why would you do that? Adrienne Houghton did an update about her son she had via surrogate and her situation was far different than any I had heard of. Her and her husband Isreal, desperately tried for YEARS to have a baby! Loads of IVF the whole nine yards. But watching the birth of Adrienne's surrogate child and Khloe's surrogate child, is night and day! It was such a beautiful and touching video/story! I was bawling! But a deep dive in the subject would be so interesting!!
I think the main difference is that Adrienne and Israel were in tune with wanting their son. They’re not going through this ordeal for like Khloe so she can keep Tristran on lock.

Tristan literally damaged her and of course she’s going to have a different relationship with her kids as a result. I completely empathize with her- and I plan to be childfree because I don’t want to risk my children having a messed up mother- and if my guy hurts me- I can’t promise staying unbiased towards his kids even though they’re mine too. I’m self aware enough to admit that. My views towards humanity and men changed when I was awarded worsening ptsd from each terrible toxic relationship I was in. My marriage ending- completely changed me as a person and I became way more pessimistic. I think that would’ve affected my kids a bunch had I had them. And Khloe has gone through A LOT. I can empathize fully with her. And she’s famous.. that’s rough. If I was in her shoes- I’d want to adopt out those kids tbh- and being famous with the scrutiny that comes with that lifestyle.. I was cheated on my whole pregnancy and didnt find out till my last two months.. and when I moved away to give birth in peace he threatened to get the courts involved said "I want you to be in his life but I want him full time maybe you can have visitation" that day I was giving birth! Everyone told me I'ma be overwhelmed with love I'm gonna be so excited it's gonna be such a beautiful moment... I hated ever second of it.. I knew I was gonna have my picture taken and I purposely pulled out tears to save face... It was such a good awful feeling to know that I had to fake it.. I wanted so badly to be happy that day... I couldn't even tell you about my hospital stay I feel like it was so traumatic that I blocked everything out or just didn't care enough to remember... But I got over it and am now so incredibly in love that boy saved my life... It was so insanely hard to admit that most people still don't even know... It's embarrassing and crippling.. I can't even begin to imagine how Khloe must feel..

On or before that day, I was eating one of my FAVORITE foods, water chestnuts, but after that painful, DAYS LONG migraine, I haven’t liked water chestnuts, SINCE, and that was DECADES ago and I KNOW it wasn’t caused by that food but I associated it with that pain. I know “everyone is different“ blah, blah, BLAH…but I REALLY can’t comprehend why Khloe stayed with that weirdo even one DAY after he (imo) DELIBERATELY went out of his way to humiliate her, by trying to creep on a family friend, of ALLLLL the girls in the land.
I heard a quote that says "women become a mom when she learns she's pregnant. Men become a father when the baby is born". I'm wondering if the surrogacy process does throw off that mentality and creates a disconnect because they're not the ones actively involved with taking care of, looking after, and protecting the baby during pregnancy. It can also speak to why it's easier for men to walk away from the responsibilities as a father and neglect their kids (like Tristan does with Theo and probably Prince, not that it's an excuse!).

I bonded with my daughter right away even when she was still in my tummy. But, I know it takes some women a few weeks, months or even a year to bond with their baby.

When my mom had my half sister she said she didn’t feel connected to her and that she didn’t even want to hold her. It took her a couple of weeks for her to start bonding with her even though she carried her for 9 months It’s crazy how our brains react to different situations and I don’t blame her. I gave birth to 4 sons & 1 daughter, and I can tell you that being pregnant , giving birth, and nursing was an amazing experience! I personally couldn’t imagine connecting with a baby that I didn’t carry, nurse, etc….. but that’s just me! I admire people that adopt children and love them as their own……not sure I could do that after giving birth to my own children. I bonded with my babies in uterine feeling them move, hearing their heart beat, and just knowing I & my husband created this person. I loved being pregnant, giving birth via c-section, and nursing bc it does create an emotional connection! I always wished I could have had a natural child birth, but I wasn’t able to! Great topic 🥹
To me, it sounds like Tristan is trying to spread his seed around and seeing which son or kid gives him the best legacy and opportunities. Many mothers who give birth naturally have a problem bonding; it’s not just surrogacy…the motherly feeling doesn’t just happen for some especially if they are dealing with stressors or depression and postpartum depression. Some mothers can even experience postpartum psychosis-no one should judge any mother as we don’t know what’s happening to them hormonally or mentally. I don’t care for the Kardashian’s at all, but I really think bashing any mother who is finding the bonding process hard is totally wrong.
Not even "trap" Tristan because another human can't be trapped, it's always a choice. A baby certainly isn't going to stop a man from cheating or walking away from you. With that said, Khloe did this because she was so jealous of the other mothers of his children (Jordan Craig and Marlee) because they had boys and you thought this baby would fix this sham of a relationship with Tristan. She also encourages Tristan's deadbeat behavior toward his other children because she doesn't want him to acknowledge the other children but hers.

Khloe has body dysmorphia and is literally forcing her life to happen. She’s trying to have happiness but doesn’t have it with herself so she can’t have it anywhere else. I’ve been following Jordan Craig for years and she posted with Tristan early in her pregnancy and she even went to her cousin Eniko and Kevin Hart wedding with Tristan being in her 3rd trimester and that’s where Khloe and Tristan meet. I think the fact that she was mostly preoccupied with Tristan's cheating and baby scandal has something to do with it. She herself said she wasn't really thinking much about the baby until she was basically called to come collect him at the hospital when it was time for him to be delivered. It also sounds like she's didn't have much of a relationship with the surrogate during the pregnancy. I've even heard of surrogates popping in to check on the family & baby after delivery cause a relationship has been formed but it seems that didn't happen in this case hence it felt transactional.
I'm not denying any of what you said but I think those things I mentioned also contributed to her lack of connection with her son.
Sometimes even women that gave birth to their own children struggle to develop a bond with them and suffer from post partum depression. The problem is not surrogacy, itself.

I personally think, based on what you said, I feel like khloe feels like she is taking care of one of his mistress kids. Khloe might subconsciously view the baby as not hers but one of his baby mama kids. As she never carried the baby, and she feels detached from the child, bearing in mind he was having another child with another woman who physically carried her own baby, it could be that in her subconscious, she feels like the baby is his that he had with another woman and she is having to take care of it. So that could possibly be another reason she feels detached from the child.

The staff said the experience of Khloe being there was crazy/ exhausting.

I think the issues with Tristan are why she doesnt have a connection. Kim had a connection easily because she had the support of her husband and even though she wasnt carrying those children she prepared for their arrival and was always communicating with the surrogate and going to Drs appointments with her.
Khloe on the other hand was soo focused on the Tristan drama she didnt even have the nursery ready until right before he was born and if i remember correctly, Kylie was the one who bought the stuff and had it set up. All those little things help to get you in the mindset of the baby is coming.
When you watch her interviews on the show the only time she talks about the baby is either relating it back to the Tristan drama (ex "people are going to think i planned to get pregnant after the other woman") or it's about how she's unprepared and can't believe he'll be here soon.
It gives the vibe of knowing the date of your final but being so focused on other things in life that the night before you realize you haven't studied anything. Of course it's going to feel transactional because you're not mentally prepared.

Adrienne Houghton did an update about her son she had via surrogate and her situation was far different than any I had heard of. Her and her husband Isreal, desperately tried for YEARS to have a baby! Loads of IVF the whole nine yards. But watching the birth of Adrienne's surrogate child and Khloe's surrogate child, is night and day! It was such a beautiful and touching video/story! I was bawling! But a deep dive in the subject would be so interesting!!
I think the main difference is that Adrienne and Israel were in tune with wanting their son. They’re not going through this ordeal for like Khloe so she can keep Tristran on lock.

I’m self aware enough to admit that.
My views towards humanity and men changed when I was awarded worsening ptsd from each terrible toxic relationship I was in. My marriage ending- completely changed me as a person and I became way more pessimistic. I think that would’ve affected my kids a bunch had I had them.

I was cheated on my whole pregnancy and didnt find out till my last two months.. and when I moved away to give birth in peace he threatened to get the courts involved said "I want you to be in his life but I want him full time maybe you can have visitation" that day I was giving birth! Everyone told me I'ma be overwhelmed with love I'm gonna be so excited it's gonna be such a beautiful moment... I hated ever second of it.. I knew I was gonna have my picture taken and I purposely pulled out tears to save face... It was such a good awful feeling to know that I had to fake it.. I wanted so badly to be happy that day... I couldn't even tell you about my hospital stay I feel like it was so traumatic that I blocked everything out or just didn't care enough to remember... But I got over it and am now so incredibly in love that boy saved my life... It was so insanely hard to admit that most people still don't even know... It's embarrassing and crippling.. For example (and, I know this is “apples and oranges”, but) I remember, as a child, I used to get frequent headaches but I this one time I had a HORRIFIC migraine. On or before that day, I was eating one of my FAVORITE foods, water chestnuts, but after that painful, DAYS LONG migraine, I haven’t liked water chestnuts, SINCE, and that was DECADES ago and I KNOW it wasn’t caused by that food but I associated it with that pain.

I heard a quote that says "women become a mom when she learns she's pregnant. Men become a father when the baby is born". I'm wondering if the surrogacy process does throw off that mentality and creates a disconnect because they're not the ones actively involved with taking care of, looking after, and protecting the baby during pregnancy. It can also speak to why it's easier for men to walk away from the responsibilities as a father and neglect their kids (like Tristan does with Theo and probably Prince, not that it's an excuse!).

Whereas couples that are committed who adopt their kids are giddy and planning their life with their life. And are excited when they receive they're just born adopted child. If she had a good partner she would have had this feeling. This isn't post partum because she didn't birth the child. She feels bad because she didn't plan him with a committed partner. Nor prepare or have a shower, buy clothes etc.
When my mom had my half sister she said she didn’t feel connected to her and that she didn’t even want to hold her. It took her a couple of weeks for her to start bonding with her even though she carried her for 9 months

I gave birth to 4 sons & 1 daughter, and I can tell you that being pregnant , giving birth, and nursing was an amazing experience! I personally couldn’t imagine connecting with a baby that I didn’t carry, nurse, etc….. but that’s just me! I admire people that adopt children and love them as their own……not sure I could do that after giving birth to my own children. Many mothers who give birth naturally have a problem bonding; it’s not just surrogacy…the motherly feeling doesn’t just happen for some especially if they are dealing with stressors or depression and postpartum depression. Some mothers can even experience postpartum psychosis-no one should judge any mother as we don’t know what’s happening to them hormonally or mentally. I don’t care for the Kardashian’s at all, but I really think bashing any mother who is finding the bonding process hard is totally wrong.
Not even "trap" Tristan because another human can't be trapped, it's always a choice. A baby certainly isn't going to stop a man from cheating or walking away from you. I had my last child at 40! It’s a boy . I have 4 kids and a bond with each of them. I feel Khloe’s connection in life is to her image. I don’t feel she couldn’t conceive!
