I could listen to Madden and Summerall all day and night. The funny commentary that is blended with football is absolutely top shelf. Best all time. Great game, Thanks very much. Wilder was huge and quick. Pretty damn good, surprised me.
I've enjoyed watching Lawrence Taylor terrorize QB's in his prime. Thank you for posting this game along with Giants at Rams 1990. Merry Christmas Ken.

These classic games are truly the BEST, no THE PERFECT way to spend a day. Especially a weekend. Binge watching old classic 🏉NFL🏈Football🏉games. Don't get me wrong, I ALSO love old classic MLB, NHL, and NBA games. I grew up in the 70's. My teen years in the 80's. These games bring back days of laying in front of the 📺TV📺 watching the NFL Today. Brent Musberger, Irv Cross, Jayne Kennedy (OMG!), Jimmy the Geek, and the others who were part of this team. The early beginnings of John Madden's broadcast days. I remember him at County 🏟Stadium🏟 in Milwaukee for a Packers versus Buccaneers game. These are truly epic and wonderful memories. These games are perfect peeks back in time. I'm probably going to be bashed for saying this, but I also LOVE THE COMMERCIALS! Oddly enough when they were being shown live I hated them, now however I LOVE to look back at all the things we've either lost, or forgotten about, or just threw away. I wish there were more of the commercials included in the games, especially during the Holiday seasons. As a kid in the 70's those days were incredible. The anticipation of December 23th, then🎄🎄Christmas🎄🎄Eve, going to church with Grandma & Grandpa, then 🎄Christmas🎄Day. The amazing🍽Dinner🍽 Mom made, or if we'd go out? I preferred home. Except for the one place I loved. It was a fancier restaurant called the Packing House. They specialized in their steaks, specifically Prime Rib. Oh and let me tell you, the King cut was huge and it was sooooo good! It almost melted in your mouth! Aww fudge, now I'm hungry! LOL. Thank you sir, for sharing these games with us. You've made at least one guy extremely happy! Given the comments it looks as though many people agree with me. 🙏God Bless you sir, and take care.🙏
Forrest Gregg lost control of his team by this point of the season. I never knew an all out brawl had broken out in the Packers locker room after the Colts game. Social media would have a field day if something like that happened today.
A Miami Hurricanes vs Maryland Terrapins promo popped up...and Pat mentioned how good Vinny Testaverde is. The irony of the fact the Bucs would draft Testaverde a couple of years later....and Parcells would coach Testaverde later on with two different teams.
In hindsight it's both amazing and frustrating how many touches Rob Carpenter and George Adams get at the expense of Joe Morris. Or even how much the Giants are trying to pass, as opposed to a run-oriented offense. The following year, they'd get to the Super Bowl mainly by running Morris behind the exact same line that started this game. Either Bill Walsh or Tom Landry (both HoF coaches) said "Joe Morris IS their offense" about that championship team. Also, watching "in the grasp" cost the Giants a touchdown, I am so glad they relaxed that rule before it nixed the greatest play in Super Bowl history. I understand that Don Shula was a heavy proponent of the rule, because he was butthurt at his dynasty ending because the Raiders got a game-winning touchdown when Miami took too long to get Ken Stabler on the ground.
Coach Bart Starr had an offense that Green Bay could compete with any team ..if they could have found the right Defensive coach they would have been contenders
Ken, Do you have the game against the Cardinals week 3 in 1985? If so, can you please upload it? A kick went over the net in this game and I caught the ball. I've always been curious if the showed me catching it. Thanks.

2:35:28 L.T, Big Leonard, and Harry Carson. Good God I miss my NY Giants!!
We NEED to shake this franchise up!
Summerall and Maddon are the best of all time. But it was pretty funny to hear Summerall struggle with "Iguebuike" the entire game.
Not a classic Giants game I was expecting to show up on TH-cam. Love it.
This is phenomenal! Takes me back. My family and I had season tickets. I miss hearing Summerall and Madden. Thank you Ken!

DeBerg is the ultimate NFL mentor. Not a lot of success but the starting QB for Montana, Elway, and Young as rookies.

I remember watching this game, the Giants were flat until the 3rd quarter but held on to win
Oh those Buccaneers
Another close game the Bucs pissed away.

I feel like, at that time, they announced games based off of the teams playing instead of how good of a matchup it was (unless it was the playoffs)
Wow The Packers were a mess at QB once upon a time. For those that weren't around The Packers were once a mess as a franchise
