Thank you for stopping by to watch my Contant. Also thanks for subscribing to the channel. I appreciate it. I hope my Contant continues to be worth your time. You have yourself a great weekend.🤜
When digging stumps out you have to put your blade down on the ground to stabilize the machine if you are in one in the class of excavator that has a blade if you dig pulling the bucket thru the ground until it stalls then you curl the bucket the machine will cut and rip out the roots the boom lift will not do it ==it is best to use the bucket curl and try not to start digging to close to the stump
The thumb that I have for my excavator is a manual thumb it pins on. So to go from using the thumb versus not having the thumb requires me to get on and off the machine half 1 million times throughout the project during stump removal projects I typically don’t worry about using the thumb, thanks for stopping by to watch the videos. I hope you enjoy the content and maybe I can earn your subscription. One day you take care and have a great weekend.
@@lifeonmttammanyridge2565 ahh, gotcha! I'm new to owning an excavator so I'm watching and learning all I can. I have so many trees to clear and stumps that I'd like to remove so massive learning taking place in my head. I'm waiting for my quote on a 24"bucket and a hydraulic thumb for my machine as it came with a 12" bucket only.
Hey John , nice job on the stump removal . I bet it’s fun operating all the equipment . Have a good one !!👍🏻🇺🇸🪵

New sub. I was trying to use my thumb button as you were cleaning up. Then realized it’s a manual thumb. Nice work 👍🏻

Good job on that! Curious why you didn't try to use the thumb to pick it out of there?

12 inch bucket would be ideal for removing stumps
What size machine did you get?
@@lifeonmttammanyridge2565 I went to a big auction and got a 2018 Yanmar VIO50 with 1900 hrs on it. Very clean and very quite. Starts right up. $30k.
