Hello, do you know how the noco analyze the battery or electrical circuit in the car? It happend on two cars, the it wasnt able to start the engine. In both cases was something wrong in the electrical circuit. I’m not able to understand how noco have detected, that something is wrong with the circuit. In both cases were shining all diodes showing noco battery level. It wasnt blinking as in normal mode.
all i know is the jumper can detect the car battery voltages if the car battery under 2 volt the booster wont send the power till you force it and that time it will be the safety circuit will be disabled
the 2 resistors was on parallels mode is a 0.5 watt each the replacement resistor is over 2 watt . if it is on series mode that time you will need both
Found one on eBay 0.18 ohm with 3 watt resistor you think that would be okay? And when Installed did you Connect the resistor to both or just the bottom one?

What you found i use my jnc 960 red box its heavy. But it cranks what ever i hook to it, i bought one of these 150 and did like 5 jumps and quit workin just got newone in today
@@avejudort take the device apart check the voltage in and out from the battery, if you not sure how you can send it and i ll check it for you. there is no replacement battery for this devices

They say they are the best but to be honest I invested so far in 5 of these after a year or so of daily use they stop working they stop holding charge or take charge. They say overload protection my ass.

My noco is doing the same thing can i just put a coper wire instead of a resistor to see if it works like that or do I have to use a resistor
did you check if the resistors open first? for the test yes you can use a wire for short time

You took out two registors and replaced only one, is that the right way to fix the unit?

This booster looks brand new, why not make a warranty claim (or was it owner error that caused the resistors to blow)?
