    I think the vision of your future has the same pitfalls as passion. You can fetishise things you don't have that you want like kids, travelling or property development. If its something you do already and want to do more of there's less chance of that but the same argument goes for passion.
    If your intuition is telling you something like "I want to try front end instead of backend" you should follow it in that do it as a hobby and see if it grows into anything bigger. Maybe don't dive into something like an entry level job or a masters but you should follow that intuition and see if it's for the long run.

      Get good
      Read his book So good They Can¨t ignore you.
      I'd add Seth Godin's "Linch pin" to your reading list.

      I love the music actually. It stands out, and harkens me back to the early 80s.
