Deffo agree with that ….. can’t keep,up with everything as it is …. Would give me a chance to catch up on lots of paintings .So take a bit of time off anyway ….. there’s loads there to keep us all going!!! What you appear to achieve in a half hour slot before lunch time takes me a couple of days ..😂….I do a lot of watching and listening to a video quite a few times ….. then set it all up …. Find the right coolers …. Do a bit of swatching and mixing to see what colours come out …. Then, actually brave the painting!!! You make it look so easy…. And it is not easy but it’s fun…..🙏🏻

That was a lovely video today, Diane. My husband just tested positive for Covid yesterday. The darned fool went to see some live music at an outdoor venue where people were packed in like sardines. I'm so irritated, because we've managed to avoid the virus for FOUR YEARS! I'm still testing negative, so we're using separate bedrooms and separate bathrooms for now. The poor man managed to work today, but he feels miserable. (He works from home) Hopefully, you will dodge the virus this time! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of us.
I know exactly what you mean. I had exactly the same thing with my husband and we’d been clear until last October too - very aggravating. I love playing with circles or shapes touching and running into each other. It's a great way to relax and also to learn new paints and their characteristics. Even if you just want to put paint to paper but can't or don't want to do anything else. It's nice. I know it's not very involved but it's what I enjoy sometimes. 23:14 I’m in my 40’s and have had Covid four times, despite being careful but not too obsessively careful if you know what I mean. The second time I had it I ended up with long Covid. It’s no joke. Rest is the MOST important thing you can do for kicking it. Longer than you feel like you need to. ❤

Thank you for introducing new ideas both videos were inspiring and I'm thinking of buying the book. Covid is bad we didn't realize how bad it was until we got it last fall most of our family that had it said it was like a bad cold. It put me in the hospital and I was on oxygen for a month. I had to go off my rheumatoid arthritis medication for all that time and it has taken me along time to get back on track. Painting helps me to relax and ease my pain. Your videos help me your voice is very soothing. Thank you for sharing your talent and ideas.
So sorry to hear that Carol, you’ve had a bad experience for sure and I hope you keep getting better every day. I’m scared of Covid I don’t deny it and even more scared of the way so many ignorant people ignore the danger - including my own husband who thinks he’s immune. He isn’t. He brought it home to our house last October from an unnecessary visit to the doctor and spent the next three weeks in bed. Hope you feel much better soon and I’m glad you enjoy the videos. Hi Diane, I'm a newcomer to your channel but I've been finding your videos incredibly inspiring. I've been art journalling for years and Dyan Reaveley says that it's working on wet that kills white pens. Ever since hearing this I've followed that advice and my white pens last a lot longer.
Yes, any pen will suffer from being used on damp work. In addition though, the ink seems to evaporate from the reservoir inside the pen even if you keep the lid on. But maybe it’s just my imagination running away with me.

Bonjour Diane , j aime bien ton accord de couleur , j ai arrete de me bagarrer avec tous ces marqueurs blanc , ils vont bien sur le papier noir ou fonce mais pas bien sur la peinture . J utilise la gouache ou l encre blanche avec un pinceau fin ou un porte plume , et je ne suis pas embetee . Je ne regarde plus trop les videos parce que l ecran me fatigue et me donne des mots de tete . J etais tres heureuse d avoir ton petit message . Attention au Covid , ca n a jamais ete fini , juste le masque pas obligatoire mais recommande , c est tout ce qu on nous a dit . De toute facon c est tellement polluee que le masque ca protege quand meme un peu . Voila , prend soin de toi mon amie a bientot

I have found for penwork i have to make sure my paint is absolutely dry or i tend to ruin my pens... sometimes i ruin them any way but making sure paint is completely dry helps.. Hugs! deb

I do NOT like the Posca fine or extra fine white pen. Uni ball from Amazon is awful but I bought one from an office supply store and it’s awesome.
