Thank you for this, Christine. Honest advice, in this example of copywriting, that you rarely hear. It's so easy to get stuck in a loop buying course after course and never implementing anything because 1) you're not ready 2) if you invent in this next course, then you'll be ready, and 3) I bought way too many courses, I'm not stuck in analysis paralysis. I learned recently (like two months ago), that you gotta go out there and scrap up your knees... fall down, fail, get uncomfortable, and write shitty copy. A book or course can only teach you so much. Thanks again!

This video is made for me.
I have been stuck for 6 months because I was overanalysing and looking for the best niche to kickstart into...
    Now I'm focused on ECOM
Though I wish I don't overanalyze it and get stuck again

Yep, over-thinker here!! I guess my theory is, I try to prepare for obstacles and be ready with a solution if they happen. But being "over-prepared" has its downside as well.
Good video with excellent advice and a very personal tone. But I wish there wasn't so much editing. The result has made the audio sound "shaky" and at times impedes the content. Pauses are natural - and allows your message to "soak in" in a more natural way.

I feel this heavy. Been in a constant loop of learning copywriting, taking notes, practicing, outreaching, stopping bc I overthink, month or more break and having to relearn and go through that cycle again. Especially because I watch a different guru or creator that has a different strategy. Lol

Spot on with your advice! Its been hard taking messy action because im a perfectionist and have a fear of failure (that im working on). However, i did land a 3 month communications assistant position with the university im attending so thatll help with my portfolio pieces and pitching! 😊 🎉

Unlike some others, I greatly appreciate you mixing your faith with your business/copywriting content. It’s speaking to me in a way that is meaningful and makes so much sense! So, thank you, and please keep going. 🫶🏼

for 30 days to paid, is it content that I have access to forever, or is there some kind of subscription system? I work full time but am trying to transition to copywriter, but I can't really put in a day's work 7 days a week. would love to know how that works, very close to signing up!

The course materials are yours forever. I also have a suggested timeline outlining the time commitment so you can best manage your time. If you'd like, shoot me an email and I'd be happy to share more information and answer any questions you have about the program!

Yikes. This video hits too close to home. I started my corporate career in 2004 and started looking at copywriting soon after taking course after course. crazy amounts of money for nothing.

It's not so much you don't appeal to "intellectuals" (whatever that means), it's that you are diluting your brand with me...and I suspect others. I've gone back and forth on purchasing your course, and I have to tell you the (increasing) level of religion in your content gives me pause. It affects my trust in you that you'll deliver what I want/need from you without having to weed out your religion, or hearing about your personal religious journey.
I would say the same thing about any other service- auto repair, hair stylist, doctor, dentist, etc. You see what I mean? It's like biting into a PB&J and finding tuna mixed in.
I'm thrilled you've found meaning in your religion! I really am! I believe in everyone's freedom to find whatever makes them happy. But I don't want or need to hear about it. Mostly, I'm not buying your course because of the sticker shock. That, coupled with the religious content, is alienating me from investing a fair amount of dollars in your offerings. Even though I'm an avid viewer of your videos. You've got a great presentation, your information is succinct, you have great pacing, organization, and an inviting style. I'm just chipping my tooth on the Christianity.
If I were you, and I felt compelled to bring my religion to my content, then I would just go Full-Blown Christian. Completely own it. Be the Charismatic Christian Copywriter Coach. (Alliteration!) You might think about that. Because I think you have a blind spot on this religion creep.
    With respect, DFR 2100.
(I truly hope you don't classify this comment at "hate." Because that is not where I'm coming from. You ready for the punchline? I'm a believer, too!)

This is good criticism. Don't sweat it. She shouldn't stop talking about Jesus, but it needs to be more seamless...like bits instead of whole videos. It's a delicate line but Myron Golden does it BRILLIANTLY...the best in my opinion. You should check him out.
