    Definitely have to relax with your trigger pull. Gentle squeeze, let the shot surprise you. Practice that and you'll be shooting 5 shot pinholes in no time. Great review!

    I have a Ridgeline in 7mm mag. I installed a Leupold 6X sdope with a fire dot reticle. It has a mode you can initiate that has the red dot flash when you are not holding the rifle plumb! So cool, as you get this in the scope and do not have to pull away to look at your pic rail bubble.
    There is no doubt that a rifle like this benefits from reloading. You may be able to find a factory load that makes you happy, but these Christensen rifles are capable of 1 hole groups. With 150 grain Scirocco 's I have been able to get under 1/2" at 100 yds. And I do not think I can shoot better than that. This was off of a bipod. Enjoy your new rifle. I love mine.

    Excellent review brother. I picked up a Ridgeline in 7mm-08, shoots half inch groups all day with Nosler 120grain BT’s.

    Sweet hunting rifle! I don’t know why but your explanation sounds simple enough.

    Congrats on a really great looking rifle, the Titanium setup is super cool! Your video was nice to watch before I hit the range here in Arizona with a brand-new Ridgeline to break-in this beauty and zero in a new Vortex PST Gen II 5-25x50 FFP scope. Opting for the 300 WM, I’m pretty excited to see how this rifle performs between 500-1000 yards after zeroing in at 200.

    I usually take a rubbing alcohol pad to clean off any oil/debris from the action/screws etc. then lock tite and torque to spec. Everyone has their own way. Great rifle 🇨🇦 🍻

    Thanks for putting this video out there. I just bought a Ridgeline Ti in 7mm rem mag. Have had a regular Ridgeline and Mesa and both were 1/4 moa rifles. Hopefully 3rd time is a charm

    • @Yettiattack
      @Yettiattack 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I may be not reading your message right. If you have 1/4” grouping at 100 yards that is sub moa an great shooting.
      At 1000 yards moa is accepted at 10” grouping.

    • @russbolton947
      @russbolton947 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Yettiattack yeah u read it right. I have had 3 christensens (1 mesa and 2 ridgelines), and all 3 can shoot teeny tiny groups.

      I hope you can shoot 2.5 at 1000 then 🤙🏻 i have had a few ruger hawkeyes i was never dissatisfied. I just got a 300 wm today hoping it can outperform my rugers.
      Ps ive never shot past 500 just mathematically. Lots of error during firing 🤔🫡🤙🏻

    Great video. Appreciate your feedback. You said this was going to be your main deer gun and occasionally elk, so 308 is a really solid choice. Don't listen to internet keyboard warriors. I have a Ridgeline TI in 300 win mag, and I love it. I used a Murphys precision titanium scope rail. It matches the receiver perfectly, and it's very lightweight.

  • @csnizelful

    Gonna be “that guy” - suggest being a little gentler with the trigger pull. That’s a sub MOA rifle and at 100 yards groups should be touching, though I understand you were sighting in at the time. If you’re still having trouble with groups, slow controlled squeeze could really help tighten up or at least take the human error out of the equation.
    That’s the end of my douche rant.

    I love the Horny Sups. from my experience, the 150 gr is better on 100-200# dear. The 168 is more likely to bust through with small exit, but the 150 jellies the box, stays in and no tracking. I just got a ridgeline in 300wm for an elk hunt later this year (and cuz I wanted it) ...beautiful rifle. Doing research on scopes now. Very excite gypsy! great video

    Nice video! I’ve just owned a new Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT. My question is, did you ever break in that barrels of your Ridgeline titanium?

    nice one, i have the ELR in 308 its an absolute tackdriver, just ordered the titanium in 6.5 creed too ,hope it will be as good as the ELR, .....by the way you need to work a little on your triggerpull skills, dont jerk it...and ya groups will be sub moa easily, try the 308 s&b BTHP that inexpensive factory load shoots a 5 shot group of 10mm at 100 yards all day out of my ELR.....cheers from germany

      @@RXAngler nothing else like ya choosed man, .308 is a great load, for shooting up to 600 yards its more than precise and has all the knock down power ya are looking for...and its still quite affordable and much more available all around the word.. ...and it wont ruin your barrel after 2500 shots like the 6.5 creed or prc. cheers from germany

    i have the same rifle in 300 PRC. I am far from impressed with the quality and finish by CA. ( for the price point ) The bolt is not smooth at all and the stock is as basic as it gets. The groups were barely decent but not as good as my 800.00 tikka T3x. There are a lot of choices at this price....... Seekins Precision Havak, springfield waypoint 2020, fierce, proof research elevation, to name a few. CA customer service is horrible. They talk to their customers like s%h*t !! Good luck with your new rig and thanks for the video !

    Ummm Have you received any shooting instruction ? You are BADLY slapping the trigger, the idea is a slow squeeze and surprise SHOT.

    *inch pounds* NOT foot pounds. Also you very very badly need to learn how to squeeze a trigger. That slapping thing you're doing is absolutely terrible.
