From my experience ID has superior flow control at the low pulse width. So your car can idle leaner and without misfires even with it being a large injector.

The ID2000s are actually a Bosch injector not specifically intended for motorsport or even a liquid fuel and can behave quite badly on certain fuels, the rest of the range are great but I'd stay the hell away from the 2000s as a general rule. ID1700x will cover what most people used to go for 2000s for and are a lot more trustworthy, albeit much more expensive

Yes, you're correct Lith. We're referring to the current range of XDS series injectors being designed for motorsport use and are compatible with a wide range of fuels, as they're the only ones that are currently available. And as I'm sure you know, you get what you pay for.

Sorry off topic. I see that Motul 5w40 sport in the backround, is that what you would run in a stock EJ207? Ive been using 5w50.
    These vids are always great.

Yes, we generally (but not always) run 5w40. It will come down to engine condition and application, but for 80% of the cars we work on, we use Motul 5w40. Either 8100-Xcess, Sport or 300V. The thicker the oil, the slower the AVCS will respond if your EJ207 is modern enough to have AVCS cylinder heads.

My 1050cc ID are brilliant on E85 4.0L Barra turbo 608hp runs absolutely faultless.
Unlike Bosch they're not even close

    I disagree
put that extra money on individual EGT’s instead
most injectors need individual trim anyway
your paying 3x wholesale purchasing these. Is it worth it? yes ONLY if you have the spare coin
    Otherwise invest in my suggestion
