I have tried all these steps several times and get the same error code. Even tried a new hard drive. Formatted it in fat32 and installed the 11.0 update and i still get this error code. Both my controller ports are working perfect. Got this error code last year on my destiny PS4 and had to replace the wifi chip to fix it. On the destiny i had no controller sync except in safe mode. Sony is no help they just tell me to mail it into them for a fee. I shouldnt have to pay them when their update bricked my system.
Guys just enter rest mode and let the update download. It worked for me that way
How you did that
Almost a week later, ive already had the update downloaded for a few days now. My console was working fine yesterday. And today it booted like normal, noticed some lag, i thought it was the wifi, i checked it and restarted my console from the power menu. Now it put me here. I was about to play a game when it told me the data was corrupted. I dident anything of it..... Like i dont have a usb or pc to manually download it.. like what the fuck... Ive tried all the trouble shooting techniques but nothing seems to be working. Not even the factory restart worked.

@@blinks2370 im still stuck, the last thing you can do is if you have a LAN cable, you night have to redownload the software, of that dosent work your hard drive is fried. I cant do much right now, but hope that helped.

This is a massive PS4 bug, my nephews PS4 won't even allow him to Rebuild Database & my PS4 almost had this bug but it fixed itself.
I tried installing the update manually with an Extended USB Hard Drive but it won't even recognize the update file via USB🤬 like wtf Playstation!!!

This does work. It worked for me first try. Thanks by the way. To everyone saying it doesn't work, after You go into safe mode and rebuild the data base, make sure You shut off Your PS4 and go back into safe mode. Then from there download the update. It should work fine.

But it’s funny because I went to check and see if my old system would update the system software (10.71) and INSTANTLY‼️ it downloaded. I was like wtf that’s weird. My old system updated and not this SLIM I bought 2 months ago??? I instantly knew something is wrong with the software internally..I just bought a PS4 pro 1TB 4KHDR. I was not bouta settle for my old console (but was willing to) because that mf just turns off by itself. Middle of gameplay it used to just give me a blue error screen or just completely shut off. I was willing to deal wit that until I got a PS5 but I end up finding the Pro I got Yesterday for $100. Ain’t that something?😭😂🤦🏾♂️🙏🏾

The process you do is a waste causes its not working i reset everything re-download everything and there yet a waste 😩 and it logged me out of Playstation network. The process u repet doesn't work. And tbh you said the same thing about the last system software 10.70 and there yet nothing were all stressed out from this like come on.😫

This doesn't work even if you have a new HDD! This thing happens if you update to 11.50!!! I tried reinstalling the 11.50 SSU and I got the same stupid error: SU-30746-0!!! WTH Sony???
I’ve completely wiped my PlayStation more than 7 times and it keeps making me do a software update 11.00 everyday even when I leave it on rest mode so It won’t turn off it still happens plus my PlayStation have a permanent white light even when I wipe and use my PlayStation again. It’s not the worst for me to wipe cuz I have all my data of an external storage device but it’s till annoying to have to wipe and redownload all my profiles SOMEONE PLEASE HELP
