I just am blown away how brilliant this arrangement is, that key change makes me cry every single time I listen to her sing this song. Absolutely incredible rendition.
I have never heard this song done this way before, my god it was pure brilliance and genius. People like her are what this show is about a true musician and artist. She obviously knows music and has a very smart musical brain to be able to like guy said chuck those tiny little surprise Chord progressions in there, throwing a 7th chord in with minor chords in that seamless way was just magical. I can't wait to hear what else she sings. I know usually in this competition they make the artists go out of their comfort zone but I feel like this lovely woman's comfort zone would sell tons of records no need for her to sing an upbeat song at all, she reminds me of Norah Jones alot with her style and grace. Definitely one of my favourites.

@@CassidyMackie well too much of music these days is disingenuous, and what you were able to do is prove that music isint about flashy shrills and high notes and a run every 4 seconds, you proved that in order to create your own space you simply need to be present and show respect to the space and the music. And I can guarentee that go west themselves would have heard this by now and are probably thinking wow that's how the lyric should have sounded. Truly I felt privileged to hear that. Not only are you truly beautiful but your beauty extends beyond the physical it can influence emotion and that's something you can't teach or learn.
@@CassidyMackie I mean I'm a pretty decent singer and guitarist but there's a huge difference between people who can just play and hold a tune and people who can genuinely interpret lyrics in the way they were meant to be interpreted, and as someone who hasn't heard any of your music before I am definitely a humble fan now. To be honest I don't know if there are actually words to describe how mesmerising it was to watch and hear. You know who you are musically and as a woman and are fully in sync with yourself that's what stands out about you. I honestly wish you the most amazing luck. And can only hope one day I have the privilege of getting to jam with you.

@@scanspeak00I didn't miss that at all. I know that she is fabulous, but my point that I am trying to get across is that, the style that she is using, is what everyone uses. I think imo that people should like sing differently, and I think that's why pop got so popular, since it was something new, and that's why tones and I did so well, since they have a unique style that everyone liked. So we need people doing something new, instead of just hitting notes, I wanna see like different styles of songs. I honestly think that music is kinda repetitive today.
