Great work mate, good to see some aussie builds. I think the XR has an XY radiator as it has the lugs in the top tank for the fan guard for a XYGT you need that top tank. Cheers for sharing.
Hey mate, love what you're doing, i've always been a fan of Roadkill garage and this is along the same lines, just taking something old that hasn't moved in god knows how long and breathing new life into it. There must be thousands of cars like that across rural Australia and it really didn't take much to get it moving, hopefully this inspires more people to get out and try the same and get some of these things back on the roads, good thing the patina look is hot right now. Keep it up and i''ll keep watching (this virus is good for something at least) Love the way you give the credits to the local suppliers that help you out with stuff, hopefully some more sponsored product will make it easier on the wallet and allow things to come together faster. the xr is sweet. it needs to be dropped a few inches and chuck in a modern 4L like a barra or intec, even the xf crossflow efi would be nicer. any plans on taking it back to adelaide?

Easy, as Australia was a RHD country and Ford Australia used as USA sourced driveline mostly. The easiest way to get a throw out fork to work on the other side of the car/truck was to run a hydraulic line to the other side of the car. Way better than a Z bar :)
