- First rollout for some testing.
Benedini Sound module is loud enough.
Shortened spring on nose gear for more scale taxiing with nose down.
Some things still to adjust.
(Somehow I mounted the main struts wrong way last night. already changed back)
Erster Rollout zum testen.
Das Benedini Sound Modul ist laut genug.
Die Bugfahrwerksfeder ist gekürzt für eine originalgetreuere Ausrichtung am Boden mit nach unten gerichteter Nase. Hier wird allerdings noch etwas nachjustiert.
Ein paar Einstellarbeiten und Feinheiten fehlen noch.
(Ich habe bereits die Fahrwerksbeine wieder getauscht. Die habe ich letzte Nacht offensichtlich verkehrt herum montiert)

Thank you! I am really pleased how it works. It's not 100% scale but definitivly more authentic than gas two or four stroke.
And the advantage compared to real turboprops is first costs and second the ability to fly during sunset late in the evening when gas and turbines are forbidden over here.

Klar, ist immer Geschmackssache.
Ich bin eigentlich absoluter Verbrenner Verfechter bei größeren Modellen, aber hier passt der E Antrieb tatsächlich besser in mein Modellkonzept.

Hi. What is the total weight of the plane with all the options you added ? I guess the 4 speakers for the sound module are pretty heavy... :) I'm really waiting for your maiden flight ! ;)
I will be close to 25kg. Flying with smokepipes and 7000mah lipos will not be possible.
I am curious on the real flighttime. Thrust with this two motors is impressive.
I hope to be able to reach 6-7min. With 5000mah.

I think for a mass production ARF model Hangar 9 has the best quality on the market.
I had no issues with it.
Hi. I'm currently assembling the same kit. The overall quality is pretty good, and the look is great, but I had a few issues here and there. I disassembled the landing gear to paint the legs and I had to replace a few circlips, because they tend to snap like a piece of glass. I replaced all the circlips maintaining the wheels on the axles, just in case. ;-) The 8 standoffs for gas engines have different lenghts, too, for example. :( Nothing a modeller can't correct, but it's not a cheap kit, so it's a bit annoying.
. i was working on the retract as well. No issues at all with the clips. Surprises me.
@@tistarc9900 I might have been unlucky on this one, who knows. Didn't want to risk losing a wheel after takeoff. It's always very funny for the spectators, but with that particular plane, you can't land on the fuselage without making a lot of damages. :( As I said, it's no big deal.
[EDIT] I just checked the pictures of your build on your Facebook page, and I noticed a few differences between your kit and mine... The retract looks different, as fas as motors and control box are concerned, at least. The machine guns on the short wings are also different, for example. I assume you got a pre-production kit ?
@@emmanuelseyssens7379 i am totally with you buddy. Sorry to hear you had some issues there. I diassembled two retract sets for scale upgrades and didn't had that issue. This kind of clips are horroble eitherway. You can't live without them on nice retracts, but i normally loose at least one of them by disassembling 😂 surprisingly not on this plane.
Belly landing is not an option with that plane. I absolutely agree. I'd rather risk a two wheel landing than landing on the inner short wings.

Those are 18,8“ props.
