My female frenchie is 12 months old. She had her first heat at 7 months old so she should be going back in heat anytime. Do you think she is too young to breed or should I definitely wait till 3rd heat cycle or am I ok to breed if she comes in her second heat at 14 to 15 months. Does structure and size make a difference in decision cause she’s about 18-20 pounds with very good structure. She is very energetic . Do not want to stunt her growth or have anything happen negatively by breeding her too early. Any info regarding this would be appreciative . Thanks.
We have a female Yorkie a year and a half old. She did not go into a visible heat her first year. A couple months ago she had the swollen vulva, but there was never any blood. She kept cleaning herself, but there was no blood that I ever saw. What does that mean? I’m hoping her next heat will be a normal heat.

Hi, James my frenchie had her first heat in September noticed swelling around 18th 19th of sep first sign of blood on the 25th /26th the heat went till October 20th last day of blood it is now the 3rd of January her little lady parts still looks swollen and she's rubbing her backside/lady parts on the floor all the time and her nipples are still pretty big I have had her anal glands done by a vet but very little that came out is there anything to worry about as I'm looking at breeding her when her next heat comes round. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I found just a drop of blood on the ground checked with q tip and nothing? Has this ever happened to you?
