    Great video….
I can’t imagine how much that procedure would cost at a dealership.
So much to remove just to get to the air cleaner…!!

У меня 1999 года, я его купил скорее всего не для катания, а для ремонта и разбора как конструктор LEGO😂

Appreciate tour video, very useful. I have K1200Lt 1999 and that filter is there since long time, should get time to replace it bit was somehow afraid but now is more easy. Thanks

That's insane.. What guy at BMW decided to design it this way?

It is incredible that BMW makes it so difficult to access the air filter, I love my motorcycle but because of how difficult it is to maintain it, I have decided to sell it

You won't be doing anything like this just one piece at a time. Combine as much work as possible...Fuel Filter,Spark Plugs, coolant change, farkle additions etc. all done every 12K in one event... .

I'm selling mine...I got the 2007 model....beautiful ride, but I don't have the time to do so much screws. Maybe for others who would like to do long rides will be perfect.,guaranteed!!

I owned a 2009 K1200LT much like this one. I bought it specifically to ride cross-country (USA) and back in the summer of 2021. I sold it as soon as I got back home. Even my local BMW tech commented when I brought it in for him to do a general health check on it before my adventure, "It's the bike that keeps coming back that I wish would not." Lol.
I've been told that it is a multi-hour process to remove all the plastics involved in maintenance things like fuel filter, air filter, and others.
    Madness!
But what a fun ride it was! ;)

I'm going to look at a 2004 K1200LT tomorrow. I have a 2000 1150 GS. The maintenance on the GS is easy. Looks like maintenance on this bike is a lot more involved. I'm guessing I should plan on taking all the plastics off every 6 months and do everything while I have it naked on the table.

Lot of work for an air filter. Now I know why it's so expensive to replace😮
