Great recipes and they look pretty easy. My last trip I swore never to have a commercial dehydrated dinner, what I thought was bad risotto with dish washing liquid, was in fact butter chicken curry....... seriously bad, but had a high entertainment value watch everyone’s reactions to the taste then letting then guess what it was!
Haha, too bad entertainment value doesn’t fill the stomach 😅. We’ve recently been trying out some of the higher end brands, and they are a lot better than the cheap stuff. But making your own stuff and adjusting it to your taste is pretty great too.
these are very good looking recipes I will be trying all 3 not only at home but while I'm out hiking ! I've got to say as Belgian Hikers I was laughing at the American accent of the narrator 🤪
I don’t have an exact measurement for the water, a lot of it is personal preference. Maybe start by filling the bag so everything is under water and then add about a cm/half an inch on top of that.
Where's the fat?!! Pack in a small bottle of olive oil (or ghee if in warm climate) to add to those! Calorie to weight ratio. Balance the more even-burn and slow-burn fat against the fast-burning carbs.

Agreed, great tip!
Or add nuts, they have fat
Thanks for the video! Where do you buy your large bag of dehydrated soup vegetables from?
We bought ours on Amazon, the brand is Wagner.
@@BelgianHikers Hi! can you maybe send the link of these? I can't find it. Great video, I am planning on trying these out
@@gaelleferket3549 Hey Gaelle, these are the ones we use: amzn.to/3NKOpSk

Thanks, I try to include imperial measurements in my vids but I don't understand them at all 😂
