50/34, 48 mm deep wheels , 28 mm tyres , no aero bars.
And the call it aero bike
Aero bars as in the ski extensions? Or a flat edge on top of the handlebar? Cables are pretty hiddem already. Almost 50mm deep wheels seems like a good allround depth. I'd call this an aero bike.
150 grams, just sand the paint off, that would save at least that!
Dump that Ultegra junk group set it's gear change was probably industry-leading when we were moving from down tube shifters ....... but not now. Replace it with Chorus 12 and fit it with a Shamal wheelset and you'd have a nice Italian bike with the industry's leading groupset.
Yeah but the frame is made in China with.Japanese Toray carbon. My elite bottle cages and bosons are actually made in Italy more than. That frame. Shimano is more than fitting.
People prob use Shimano pedals as well. Really none of these brands care what hangs on the bike.
Sana ol
Do you ever review new bikes under £1,000 that us mere mortals can afford?
GCN does not review products. Their job is to showcase products that their advertisers want you to see. They generate revenue in this way so that sometimes we, the viewers, can watch the epic adventures that they film for our pleasure, while showcasing products and places related to cycling. Also, I’m pretty sure that these people don’t work for free. Advertising is what fuels the fire here. If you want reviews, DC Rainmaker or GPLama is a good place to start.
@@BikePappy thank you Rick. I too film epic adventures from around the globe. Can you send me some of this juicy advertising revenue you mention? Maybe with all that revenue i could then afford a production team, rather than just me and my GoPro?
All it's missing is a mustache
Do I dare comment first?
Giveaway to an avid watcher of GCN?...
I'm six foot one too. That bike would fit me perfectly.
Again an advertisement video. Please present some technical data related to testing the bike on the road, hills etc. we all can read technical cards. I have a challenge with your reviews and urge you to dive a bit deeper
GCN Doesnt review bikes. they are impartial, they only do sponsored look arounds. you should check out bike radar or one of those if your looking for reviews.
They are not impartial.
@@techfin6145 impartial or sponsored, choose one. They are not mutual.
Quite the mismatch between tyre and rim. The gap where they meet will outweigh any aero benefit of the rim profile. *sigh* You can lead a chem PhD to the wind tunnel but ...
Why say,that's a nice bike
