I just read Thurl Ravenscroft's Wikipedia page and it says he was a jazz singer and voice actor who did a LOT of work for Disney. It seems that he loved his work and was extremely successful at it, and there is no indication he was a disgruntled actor who hated doing Tony the Tiger. I saw another interview with Seinfeld who seemed to indicate the disgruntled actor thing was his idea.
It's all made up. took an icon that loved his work and enjoyed voicing the cereal mascot till his death, and just spat on his grave in the name of comedy
okay I absolutely LOVE Hugh, but got lost on the fact that I swear I thought that was Wolf Van Halen doing the interview. (and was wondering why) Apparently this guys name is Zack but they could be twins!!
Probably a good idea Hugh didn't bother crossing the pond to promote this movie, it's looking like a huge flop. Maybe Jerry should have listened to Hugh when he complained about his lines.
Hugh Grant's portrayal of Thurl Ravenscroft was totally😮 absurd...NOT EVEN CLOSE ..I'm a huge Thurl Ravenscroft fan..I love Hugh Grant in a lot of other movies but I'm sorry..just bothered me that they made Thurl Ravenscroft British ..plus..there was a scene where they mentioned Fruity Pebbles at a function in 1964..Fruity Pebbles wasnt even thought of in 64..introduced in 1969 as Pebbles. Became Fruitu Pebbles in 1970. Cocoa followed in 1971..just urks me..lolol
Youngest Thurl Ravenscroft fan gay and queer for Thurl...I hate you Hugh Grant. That man until he died was the happiest voicing Tony the Tiger. Photos, videos, interview all state how proud he was to be the first voice actor for Tony and even when the Mellomen disbanded and his own singing career began to fall off-and the time in the 70s he did religious music-he still proudly recorded lines for the cereal. When he in his late 80s early 90s and Kelloggs asked if he wanted to find a replacement, you know what he said? No. They limoed him from his house to the recording studio till his death in 2005. I hate you Jerry Seinfeld
I’m not sure. I’ve seen two chats with HG about Unfrosted and both interviewers seemed very intimidated: Grant is very quick-witted, sharp and a bit grumpy. He’s on his best behaviour here but I guess you’re never sure when the knife will come out….or he will just start looking bored.
"I'm livid in real life but I fake it for the cinema" 😂

They made that part up. It's mostly made up

is that Wolfgang VanHalen?
my thoughts exactly. looks a lot like him
I get that a lot.
Hugh Grant should have done the interview by himself!
Obsequious interviewer. Hugh is barely containing his contempt.
He’s British. They’re just like that.
Dumb

I hate to say this about such a nice fella but this guy really shouldn't interview people. Movie idea sounds funny as hell though
