    It's rare to find a product that works exactly as advertised. Thank you!

    A number safety issues here with the grinder operation. Wear protective gloves, NOT latex. Wear safety glasses, NEVER operate a grinder without them. Use a grinder with a handle and a guard. If your grinder doesnt have a handle, at least hold it with two hands. Secure the item you are cutting in a vice. The way the operator is holding the bracket with their hand is so dangerous you are asking to lose or severely injure your hand or another body part.

    Great video, got the exact the same from dr. Kdss. Have some questions here.
    1: Do you need to jack up the truck let 4 wheels off ground?
    2: do you need to loose the Kdss release valve before adding those parts?
    3: need to reset Kdss after the install?
    Appreciated for your support

    • @OtzleeExplains
      @OtzleeExplains  ปีที่แล้ว

      You just need to jack up the front. You may need a crowbar to help realign the bolt on the sway but it’s not bad. I did not have to loosen or reset the kdss afterward but you will need an alignment

    I order the billet clamps for my sway bars, front and back. After watching this and other videos I went and looked at mine and realized the front passenger side outside rubber "clamp" was missing. Completely gone. The driver side is stretched and twisted and about to break. My truck is 2021 (granted with about 50K miles) but I was surprised how bad they are. The KDSS shock body is right up against the frame too!

    • @OtzleeExplains
      @OtzleeExplains  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow that clamp took a beating! This will help fix your issues moving forward! Do you wheel hard?

    • @michaelfletcher1224
      @michaelfletcher1224 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OtzleeExplains I don’t wheel my 4Runner very hard. I have put on a fair amount of miles but I don’t rock crawl with it. I have a heavily modified H1 Hummer that I take to Moab and that gets pretty well used. The 4Runner is my family camping in the desert or mountain mobilize… so I was surprised to see the status when I looked at those rubber clamps.

    Nice video. I just ordered the KDSS sway bar spacer kit.. I noticed you have wheel spacers. Have you had any issues with them? Also how do you like the DR_KDSS outer sway bar bushings?

    • @OtzleeExplains
      @OtzleeExplains  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've been running my spacers for over 4yrs, no issues. The only obstacle I encountered was the need for the BMC. I was getting wheel rub at full reverse. I'm running 285/70/17's. Regarding the outer sway bar bushings, I can't really tell the difference but I was going to work on the KDSS anyways so decided to order the sway bar bushings at the same time.

    Is anyone running into the issue with having CBI skids? So after install and treaty oak spacer OR the DR.KDSS adapters the front sway bar sits pretty much on the CBI front skid. Hoping someone might have a solution...

  • @harbud8
    @harbud8 ปีที่แล้ว

    So if you used the Treaty Oak spacer, you would not need this?

    • @fluxx23
      @fluxx23 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Def don't use them together (I learned the hard way because I didn't read the descriptions). You'll end up getting interference issues. From the DR.KDSS site "Both the drop spacer and these adapters push the sway bar forward. Using both will have the sway bar too much forward and crashing into the front crossmember / skid plate."
      Also learned after talking to Dom that this is going to be better than the kdss drop spacers. I have them installed and will be removing them in favor of these adapters.

    I have a 2021 4Runner venture and just got a lift 3" king shock's on it but unfortunately it feels like its not alignemd it pulls to the right and at times it vibrates can you please help in informing me what can be happening?

      Thank you for getting back to me on my concern. Alignment yes two times because the shop were i got it done couldn't figure it out so after i took my 4 runner back to shop the first time they did another Alignment but that didn't fix anithing and I'm afraid they won't be able to fix because they are telling me to bring it back a 4th time.
      So Alignment yes and no tire upgrade i got my Toyo tires about 1 year ago the shop just did a 3" lift and Alignment.

    • @OtzleeExplains

      You should consider this even with a 2” lift. The angle of the kdss and sway takes a beating without this. My 2021 TRD orp with 22k miles has worn bushings already from not doing this earlier

      @jfriday1ify the rear swaybar bolts directly to the axle with one side having an end link attached the frame crossmember on the passenger side. The front swaybar has end links on both passenger and driver side connected to the lower control arms. This is how it's set-up on my 2019 land cruiser, I'm not experienced with other models though.

    • @rocketmonkey90
      @rocketmonkey90 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cheaper, yes, but I've lost 2 bushings on the driver side both times. And I've only put 60,000 miles on my 4runner. Once was on the trip up to Oregon from socal. No Toyota dealership on the way up had the bushing in stocks so I was left to wrapping my clamp and bar in 2 inch electrical tape to prevent rubbing and loud banging sounds of the kids sway bar. This fixes that problem from happening again. Buy once, cry once. Altogether, this is one of my cheapest mods. 😅

    • @OtzleeExplains

      Because my rig is lifted and once the vehicle is lifted it changes the angle of the front sway bar, causing the rubber bushings to prematurely wear faster. This dr kdss bracket fixes the angle
