I recently read Andrew’s book about walking the Camino with his son and enjoyed it. As I read it, I recalled and relived my first Camino (Frances) a year ago and my more recent Camino Portuguese. Having experienced 2 Caminos made the book more enjoyable for me. In a few weeks I’ll be heading back to Spain to walk my third Camino, the Del Norte.

Andrew, thank you for sharing your experience with us. My husband and I decided we would walk the camino within the next year or so. Can't wait to read your book.

Great interview. Very informative. I’m from Minneapolis and I have done the Camino myself 5 times. It’s is truly a life changing experience as Andrew mentioned. Thinking of doing the Camino Portuguese from Porto, Portugal in May of 2022. For me, the Camino is my way of reminding myself that you don’t need much in life to live and be happy.

Buen Camino Andrew. My son and I walked the Camino in July, 2016, and like you, I think about it every day. We walked alone, and with others, under the stars, and the blistering sun. We will always remember the walk into Santiago and meeting our fellow pilgrims. Some days there were tears, others days laughter, but in all, gratitude. Thank you for your story and pictures.

I enjoy pretty much all Camino stories ahead of the day when I can embark on the full Camino Francés someday myself. I began walking the Camino Portugués in 2019 and hope to return to it in 2022, but following Camino journeys past and present keeps the fire going. So thanks for this!

Dude, look at you. Walking the Camino. So cool. I watched your movies back in the 80's and such and we're only a couple years apart. Never thought of you as a peregrino. I've walked the Portugues and the Frances six times total and God willing will walk them again.

How beautiful. Graduate Camino Frances 2007 and Pilgrimsleden: Oslo to Trondheim 2017...this pilgrimage thing gets in your blood! Thanks so much!

This was really interesting. Living in Ireland and a few of our neighbours have done the Camino or sections of it. My husband would like like to do this walk in stages. I’ve forwarded this link for him to enjoy. This was a lovely vlog.

Excellent episode, Rudy! Really loved hearing about Andrew’s journey on the Camino. We did this walk through Spain a couple years ago and the experience was as life-changing as an earlier trip to Tibet…I still think about it to this day.

Our goal for 2022, from Le Puy. I m sure your son will inspire his friends and there'll be a generation of young people wanting to do the journey.

Really enjoy your series, I did 175 miles on the Camino in 2016 and ended up in an er with both feet infected. Recommend it for everyone. Hurry back to Nuevo!
