@Luna-Lux Yeah they might not know you're going to do an unconventional Court Change strat, thinking it's a regular Toxic Orb set, but once they see the Court Change they can figure it out by just looking at the rest of the team.
I always thought about doing a Sticky Web Court Change strat to give my team a guaranteed Competitive or Defiant boost. Toxic Spikes is also a super cool idea.
He's done that before, and so has WeedleTwineedle. Wish I could tell you which videos so you can use them as reference but there's too many. Ah well, not like they'd be anymore helpful than just using a team building tool. 🤷♂️
Defiant and Competitive only work when it’s an opponent lowering your stat, and it tracks the sticky web as being from your own Pokémon so it doesn’t work, sadly. If you skill swap magic bounce into sticky web it works, though.

There's muh boi. I've actually been using Zangooze with Punching Glove because you can usually predict when a Toxic is coming, or if they have Glimmora then you get it for free. This strategy of your's is pretty awesome!

Recently I’ve been messing around with Snow cloak Bright powder Alolan Sandslash, and completely randomly I ended up finding that Alolan Persian is an extremely solid pokemon especially with that strategy, I love making silly and unconventional teams and my main inspiration and ideas all come from your channel.
I just gotta say that this new video intro section where you explain the key skills and such is great for those of us that love your wifi battles but missed the last gen or two. It's honestly the only reason I can watch these and have any idea what's going on anymore :P
I used a similar strat but with Obstagoon. The way I got around the low speed was sticky web. Toxic Orb would be easier to set up and would cut back on your team a lot. Still a good strat but it forces you into one move and locks you out of coverage.

I’ve always wanted to have a team centered around assist and gravity paired with the one-shot KO moves bc of the Accuracy, boost of the gravity you can pair it with that accuracy boosting Lens scope

I wonder if you can do the same strategy but with a gut boosted pokemon. Like set up one layer, court change and get Conkledurr or Luxray poisoned and they can still hold an additional item. Imagine the Mach punches from Conkledurr with choice and guts.
This set is crazy 😂I would recommend puting boots on Cinderace so when Zangoose dies you can switch back into cinder to put the spikes back on the opponent side

Zangoose is also one of two pokemon in Scarlet and Violet that have both Belly Drum and Baton Pass. Do with this what you will. (The other is poliwrath)
Isn't easier to just... Use Sticky Web? I use this combination all the time with great success. Zangoose is indeed super powerful and underrated, the best part is that people are not used to facing it so they don't expect so much damage, the surprise factor is huge. People start setting up in front of him being sure of surviving and then they just die instantly. I've swept teams of just box legendaries with the Zangoose, super funny. Also Zangoose gets great coverage with Knock Off and Close Combat, so I don't think locking it with the Choice Scarf is a good idea.
But then he couldn't use Court Change, cmon now. But srsly, you right but I like this strategy because the opponent is likely confused and then it's too late when they realize their mistake. Plus, you don't have to worry about rapid spin or defog getting rid of the webs..or since most Sticky Web users are sacrificial lambs, a team slot, because Cinderace can still be a threat even without using Court Change. Webs are still probably more consistent though. 😂 Edit: Oop Haydunn got in here first to explain.
@@Haydunndoesn’t rapid spin get rid of toxic spikes too though ? Plus you could solve problem by having a gravity mon come on if you playing 6v6 it’s more plausible 3v3 would be harder to pull off. I’m just thinking that ghost mons are really common but I suppose it depends on who you playing etc.

Sticky web is solid for Zangoose yeah and likely more reliable, but you run the risk of being outsped by flying types, or vulnerable to rapid spin.

The only snag would be going against ghost types who are immune to normal types
