Killing Floor 2: Hell on Earth Steam Fortress Solo Demolitionist w/Hans

- Hello everyone! I'm back again to cover the DLC weapon for the Blunderbuss and the Kaboom Stick. In this run, I play Demolitionist showcasing the weapons on Steam Fortress. Last year, I only played the objective mode for the map and never followed up with a standard wave based game. This year, I plan to finish it with the appropriate weapons and aesthetics.
The Blunderbuss is quite an interesting weapon. It has 2 modes of fire, the primary fire being an explosive cannon shot which detonates on contact or until you let go of the trigger, it's ideal for taking out larges. The second mode of fire is a scattershot, which can penetrate numerous amounts of zeds which is great for clearing trash. The weapon is versatile in almost every situation making it a pretty powerful Demolitionist weapon. The Kaboom Stick is a powerhouse capable of decimating just about anything. It bares the same similarities of the Double Barrel but is replaced with explosive rounds.
I returned to steam fortress this year because of the Blunderbuss as is was the prefect choice for the map without the weapon feeling out of place in any other map. I used Controlled Difficulty for the run and scaled the zeds up once again. During my first vanilla playthrough, the waves were boring, slow and uninteresting. The holdout zones were awful and weren't worth showing off. So instead, I made the waves faster by increasing the amount that spawned on the map while keeping the integrity of the game unchanged much like my Desolation video. Steam Fortress is a solid map. It's wide open giving the player many options approach zeds from. The steampunk vibe it gives off is fitting and detailed to no end. Hope you all enjoy!

Hey man just hoping you could clue me in, I just started playing kf2 with some friends and were all having a blast. Since were all new, we dont really know any of the history of the game. To summarise, how did the game turn? thank you :)

@@DrLoyon yea but how is he cancelling ? like what button input is he doin do that enables that ?is he literally just spaming the the mele button or is he using the scoll wheell .
@@alfredoperez9017 well first of all ur weapon have to been reloaded when ur weapon can be reloaded press the bush button and cancel the animation by reloading and do it as fast as u can u need practise on this but for me is easy : P

Honestly I found the Blunderbuss to be the other way around. The explosive shot is good for trash while the shrapnel worked well on big zeds

Kf2 is a dying game. The updates are so lackluster and the dlc weapons cost more then the game itself. But your content makes the game look fun again, and makes me want to go back and play. I wish the updates got better dough.
I understand your frustration, but as long as there are players in mp and very small updates the game isnt entirely dead. Ive seen a game actually die and it's much worse than that
I stopped playing when they introduced the robots. Told me tripwire was too lazy to design new zeds to fill the roles they wanted to implement and went the easy way by making the enemies robots. These robots share the same basic design, save the different weapons they use. Already had that feeling with the "alpha" zeds, but the robots just cemented it for me. You're absolutely right that Psycho's game play makes it look fun, but not enough to reinstall and deal with the robots and unreasonably priced dlc weapons.
@@GoldyGoldmembers Yeah the robots were what drove me away too at first too, but it was because I got mad at how annoying they are to deal with until I learned how to take them down properly by watching how fatcat did it. After that they're fun, but other things later drove me away from the game.
@@GoldyGoldmembers Actually dealing with the "edars" is not that hard. Just aim to the chest and they are gone, plus they stun zeds nearby. But yeah, the lack of new zed specimens is boring me, like, u have zedternal filled with omega zed's that could easily be in vanilla HoE!
@@GoldyGoldmembers the dead man's game has nothing since although it is true that dlc weapons are very expensive it seems that everyone forgets that the community asked for it among one of the hundreds of surveys that tripwear takes to add something to the game in addition to this game It is almost 5 years old and in total it has been counting on this, it has already been 12 updates, and tripwear is concentrating on other projects (for example, the shark game that has been its greatest success) and it is normal that the game is not like before but company is lazy you could not be more wrong since the amount and creativity that the study has shown with the game emphasizing the weapons seems impressive to me besides that all the things that the game adds are mostly things that the community asks for, which I emphasize that they were the ones who asked for the pay weapons so the game is dead and boring you could not be more wrong

Stopped playing the game because of the tether robots. Whenever I go to play suicidal, I'll check everywhere around me. Do one more back check before running. Then as I start running, I instantly get tethered and just die instantly. I dont understand what I'm doing wrong

I bought and downloaded this game because of your videos. I absolutely loved it, but nobody was there. I couldn’t find a server that were applicable for newbies like me. I wasn’t even sure if anyone plays this anymore. Ended up deleting it and moving to GTA Online..

No. I do it just for flair. The only difference between them are that two different healing animations that play for each heal. One for the quick heal, and the equipped syringe.

I didn’t notice much of a difference in the number of zeds, but you could be playing on a lower difficulty

Me again hi, firstly an amazing video as always, secondly that damn weapon is OP, not the explosive part, the impact damage part. One shotting a FP, a real FP with one ammunition, which is not a RPG or the big sniper thingy... That's my opinion on that weapon :3
