I use the shield to tremendous effect at Operation Neptune. For real, being able to waltz through the LMG fire while the snipers pick them off is a heck of an experience.
Favourite Counter: Molotov Grenades Still a instakill when thrown at the Shield and its the cheapest Scorestreak. The combination of Calvary and Ordnance is win win. But there are many other counters which are also effective. Just grateful that I have something to protect myself against LMG Shipment Campers and Operation Neptune Turrets and Snipers.

Well, my wife and I hit it up almost daily to do Contracts. We grab the two Dom contracts + the LMG one, and go search for Shipment Dom matches, then we swap to the Kill Confirmed, Rifle kills, and Melee kills ( sad face, they took away my melee kills contract!) and run around Shipment Kill Confirmed doing nothing but bayonet kills ( counts for both rifle and melee at once! Plus you get instant confirms!).
I've been using mines. Shield users tend to creep in crouched and slow to give time to get a direct hit as long as they don't have hunker. Expeditionary is nice because your mines replenish so as long as you keep placing mines in hot zones you can get pretty quick and easy streaks.

Not only that but it seems to block the splash damage to teammates too, I've had numerous glide bombs get swallowed by a shield even using the juiced up blitzkrieg glide bombs.
It's not consistent but using Wanderlust can occasionally give you a counter for shields. On one match I got several launchers and rifle grenades from random weapon pulls to counter shields.
Dual wield pistols are great for countering them particularly the 9mm sap because of it's high fire rate and good hip fire accuracy and the 1911 just for raw damage
Yeah, I already had a class build that is tailor-made for this. Expeditionary with Launched, Nades and Ogre Smoke, Rifle w/Grenade, Bazooka. I call it Boom-Boom. I may try switching for Satchel Charges, though... Ace didn't even test those!
I would note that pretty much all of this wont work against literally anyone that has a clue what they're doing. The launcher is the best one but even then anyone that sees the launcher should immediately switch to their secondary and side strafe. Grenades are the same. With a shield theres two main ways to fight people head on and a third way that takes Aces personal method and uses it against them. The first thing, if they open fire on you, let them hammer the shield and then switch when they run out. 2, if you see the hand move out to the side, switch to your secondary and hammer them, they cant throw or cancel the grenade fast enough in most situations to do anything about you swapping unless you're using a stupidly heavy weapon, which is like completely unnecessary. Even just a pistol with a Tac knife or a standard pistol if you're good with them is the best bet for the fast swap and the potential melee. The third thing, using aces tbing against them; is generally for shotguns. The shield is really good for poking your head into a room to get their attention and then you back out and switch to the shotty and as they run out, they take the gun to the chest. If someone runs from me when my shield is up I'm just gonna switch to the shotty and chase them that way. If they turn they're throwing themselves into the gun. A big no no against shields is standing still infront of them or reloading infront of them and for that matter shooting the shield. I've had games with 2800 points by the end of it, and only ten kills or so. Thats 18 kills worth of points just straight up fed to me and at one point two guys literally stood infront of me to teload ajd I just smacked him with the throwing knife and the other shit himself and legged it. Pushing a Shield user with a melee OHK attachment or an explosive weapon is realistically most effective but nearly everything else just straight up shouldnt worj against a competent shield user. But then again people arent complaining about shields, they're complaining about turtles, which just like corner campers, are the guys that are trying to do a specific style of play, but they're doing it all wrong. 90% of Shield users are forgetting they need a sword too, and simply dont play the way they should. I dunno if its sad or funny. Also a fun fact, Glide bombs and I'm assuming mortars can be survived by a shield and you can tank explosions with the shield on your back too.
Honeneko Sword was a metaphor, thats why I used "sword" I mean you can literally sword with it, its surprisingly effective because its got like the fastest switch to and from the shield, but I use the 9MM in hardcore. Yeah I get they're common counters I'm just sorta saying no competent shield user should fall to these consistently :)
I had a game of War this morning where I got matched in with a bunch of low-level players (think 20s-40s) and a Prestige 112 player running Calvary on the opposing team. It was so satisfying just popping him with the M1 Bazooka every time he came charging at the artillery guns
I have used the shield quite a bit now and its honestly not that powerful. It seems to be 90% of the time a 2 hit kill which is really bad and if you swap your shield for your weapon the enemy has a massive advantage because their weapon is already out to shoot you. Sticky grenandes kill you instantly. the shield is not something to get worked up over
It is always a 2-hit melee kill unless the enemy is already damaged. Even from behind( which I think is BS, as any other non-melee weapon can OHKO with a melee hit from behind). EDIT/UPDATE: You may be able to use Shield Charge and get a OHKO! I will need to test this more thoroughly in a private match to confirm, but it appears that the actual Shield Charge, when you hit R3 ( on PS) and charge at them with the shield, can OHKO. I usually hit the melee again just as I get to them, rather than just letting the shield charge wait for its own proximity detection to get the hit, so I am not sure if my second hit of the R3 is what is getting the OHKO, or if it is simply the Shield Charge itself.
It’s not the most deadly weapon, it’s not intended to be. You can improve your chance of killing someone when switching several ways. The best two is to encourage them to shoot you. Ie turn a bit to show some skin, turn back or stand up. They will often spray their mag. The other option is to find enough cover to cover your body. Then switch guns. This actually works quite well for some reason. You rarely should swap guns with someone looking at you, even without the shield.
It can be as deadly as you want it to be, if you learn how to use it. Using Serrated basic training would give you faster melee, and then you can just sprint around, get the initial Shield Charge from sprint, then follow up with a fast second melee. I actually got 22 shield kills in one DOM match using this, and didn't even have Serrated on it!
Counters to the counters 1. Moving around a lot can usually save you from being stuck with a grenade, and if you do get stuck then kamikaze their ass by charging them. You’ll still die, but so will they and if you hit it will count as assisted suicide. 2. If someone is rushing you to get to your side, strafe with them. It might leave your feet open, but people who rush often get too close to notice that in time and they end up getting smashed in the face feeling like an idiot. 3. Bazookas are clunky and slow, so take advantage of the Energetic training and sprint towards the sides of anyone using them and watch them panic as you charge at them faster then they can switch weapons. This works for rifle grenades as well. 4. The best offense is a good defense. Take advantage of your shield charge and patrol the entire map. Protect your team from tryhards going for kill streaks like molotovs and flamethrowers. 5. Befriend the opposition. Once people figure out that they just can’t get past your iron wall, crouch up and down or spin around as a little victory dance and they’ll start dancing around too. Have a good time with your new buddy before bashing his head in and repeat the process. 6. Tac knifes and melee weapons are useless in the face of a well structured team. Stay near your friends and keep your shield facing the enemy. Use Serrated to give yourself the upper hand and strafe with them to keep them behind your shield.
I like your counters XCLUSIVE ACE but if u have experience with THE SHIELD is very hard to kill someone with it. I use the DUELIST TRAINING CARD and when im near the enemy i jump and swap weapon and destroy the enemy with the pistols .i use my same stragety from from Black ops 2

I'm really starting to like the rifle grenade overall now. It was pretty bad at its launch, but now it is a fairly decent and fun (but not overpowered) way to take out all type of players. Thanks for the tip Ace!
Guys i used wonderlust in offline mode against bots and found 3 new weapons possibly coming to the game...The weapons are a de lisle, a dagger,and a bren-like weapon plz like so others can see 👌
This is proper game design. Providing multiple counters to ballistic shields, and the counters make sense. Heavy pieces of iron may stop shrapnel at a distance, but they can't stop the concussive wave from an explosive's blast damaging your internal organs. Likewise fire can easily burn around a shield.
For some of us we missed the shield like many miss the pick 10. The shield is my favorite COD weapon. Too many haters just want their favorite class and don't want others to have their fun.
Covinaman its not the shield itself, its just the way it's been implemented. If it was in the game from the start a lot less people would be using it because it wouldn't be a new thing, everyone wants to level up cavalry and you are forced to use the shield (unless you use wanderlust which is awesomely fun) it's the biggest shield in cod history, they can charge with it, it gives a stupid ass hitmarker for the shield for no reason, bullets sometimes hit a person's shield on their back when you hit them dead center mass which is a problem right now, you can't melee another shield with a shield, teammates shields on their backs or if they are holding it will block your bullets, you lie down with a shield and you are almost invulnerable to bullets and snipers can't 1 hit unless it's a headshot, and it causes you to stop shooting when you get melee'd by it. Just a few things.
Shields are as annoying as shotguns in this game, adding things that require no skill to use hurts the consistency of the game. I thing adding things that require time and skill to master, now thats worth having in the game and i would not get mad if i got killed because someone is actually skilled.
Anyone with no skill using this shield is just gonna get wrecked. It takes a good amount of skill to use the shield consistently and effectively if the opposing players have any idea of how to counter it.

If it is such a "No-skill noob weapon", how about you upload a nice video of you getting streaks with only shield. It is harder than you think, the only noob way to use it is sit in a corner crouched and troll players. But you won't get many kills like that! The shield is a tool like any other weapon; people with no skill can use it horribly, and people with skill can wreck with it.... and other people with skill can still wreck them back!
There's a chance you can counter the sticky gernade by putting a perk called hunker on the shield class, or any explosive, an easy way to counter someone trying to get around the sheind is to turn up the sensitivity, tac knives work well tho, I can tell you all this because ive been using the sheild since black ops 2, another thing, they will never nerf the shield, its become one of the most favorite classes in just a week now, if anything, nerf the LMG's, the only reason I use the sheild is because they are the ONLY counter to machine guns

wow , the rifle grenade destroys , I tried it for my 50 kills with rifles in war and i got about 30 nade kills lol , nice to hear them rage , I even got a lot of double kills with it. thanks again for tips !! I was really thinking the shields would affect the game play in a negative way.
The cavalry division is my go to for objective based modes like domination and war, but, abusing the shield like charging into a fight or squatting in a corner is not cool by any stretch, thanks for the tips 👍

Tip #1 turn your sensitivity up to 14 in order to stop flank attacks #2 crouch alot just crouch #3 don't run, if you do they can kill you #4 use throwing knives , and smoke for optimal speed kills #5 always push objective, always #6 if attacking then make sure to hold right trigger in order to block at all times and only run when your sheild charging
I shoot the feet and get kills. I do love the knife/pistol idea tho because sometimes you hit the corner and there right there so feet aren’t always an option. Great videos as always.
Have enjoyed the shield, but been using this setup today and it works well and you notice people putting the shield away during the match. Good for WAR and Regular modes, but has become a bit boring and seems like a crutch set up, but when there are lots of shields I still pull this out.
yeah I don't love the combat mechanics of fortnite but it is a different enough type of challenge. I'm sure ill get tired of that and come back to COD. It just turned me off a little.
C4 was another one that works well c4 + saboteur, also if they are crouched and you have a shield against another shield run jump and melee downwards on their head and you can hit them, works easier if you corner them cuz then it’s Garunteed kill
You sure about that cause there is barely anybody using the shield in MW2, MW3, Ghosts, Advanced Warfare, etc. so I don’t see your point in how it ruins games if it’s barely seen online at all ._.
I remember using the controlled bomb from the steaks and I hit a guy that had a shield and the shield indicator popped up so he didn’t die I almost snapped the disc in half

As a shield user, there is only one way that is the most effective way to killing a shield user and that't to rush and turn on there right. Like you said, it will confuse us. Everything else here shield users can counter with certain ease, sticky grenades turn you into a suicide bomber, if you see someone with a molly or a flamethrower just run away or rush the bastard before he gets the chance, rifle grenades you can back up fast enough so that direct hits and explosions do minor damage (without hunker). Tac Knives are almost never seen, so its rare to go up against, but when you so see a tac knife, just switch to your secondary gun. As for giving chase, yes shield users will do that, but the second they see you turn the shield is back up, making you into a bullet sponge, and the enemy waste his ammo. This tactic is almost ineffective if you have the shield rush in Calvary. A shield users job is crowd control and being a bullet sponge for the team. You are literally the wall between your team and the enemy. Almost all, except for rushing a shield user, is entirely counterable. On top of that one hit kills from behind are shield users best friend. The only sure fire way to kill a Calvary user is to gang up on him/her and push them into a corner, I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me on XBONE, but it works.
But, another method I found, but it happens randomly is that you distract the shield user and have someone else getting the kill from behind or the side of the shield user. Sure you may think that is just bland than the ones Ace listed and all people care about is getting the final blow, but some teamwork is important when facing these shielding guys.
Did my Tweet last night help contribute to your #1 tip? It wasn't until later in the night that I realized every time I died to a rifle grenade, it was when I was holding my shield. If the shield was on my back, I usually survived.
I feel like a beast bc I've been doing this since day one the cavalry division was added and I was owning people the first few days but now they are a little better at working it defensively
What I use to counter the shield is a LMG (Lewis) attached with rapid fire, extended clip, and steady aim. When I see a opponent with the shield I immediately shoot down by there feet if not in crouch position. If they are in crouch position I’ll just throw a sticky bomb at them either on the shield or too the side of them and get a kill.
I've been using C4's (satchel charges). Have to aim well, but very satisfying. Ace, your class looks way more effective, stealing :). I did get a fury kill with a flame thrower in domination when they were all piled on the b-flag.
Here’s a tip for if you are using a shield: use the gun ho (or whatever the perk is that allows you to shoot while sprinting) and you will always hold the shield in front of you while you run.
If they’re crouch walking towards you you can still see the tips of their feet, if you can hit one of those tootsies with a shot from the PTRS, they’re done for
I think it adds fun to the game. I enjoy leveling the divisions,doing the challenges and doing the weapon challenges. I try to get a win but it isn't the end of the world if i don't.
Very informative video as always ACE. Love all the research you do. I have 2 things that have been bothering me that maybe you could shed some light on. First is more of a rant, why the hell does my master prestige name and rank show up in bright color for all my enemies to spot me light a flashing beacon? I would like to see a master prestige award eliminating our name in gameplay. Second, I don't know if it's in my setup but when I watch other U tubers or Kill shot cam I can see everyone's name show on screen but when I play I rarely see my opponents? Favorite is sticky but after your Video, can't wait to test Launcher and rifle grenade!
I found that you can run Calvary without the shied the only draw back is you have to use wonderlust. But it isn’t as bad of a problem since you can still capture it objectives
I was using the shield, the my personal favorite counter that someone used on me is this: i pushed up on him, he went up a set of stairs behind me and then turned around and jumped down, shooting me from above. At first I thought it was a fluke so I tried getting him again and that worked Everytime he did it. Even looking up it was very difficult to prevent his counter
I love using the molotov killstreak. I was playing domination on shipment and thats what I used to kill shields trying to capture the point . Omg people were raging and the molotov its so easy to get and works perfectly. Also, the malee weapon thats works the best or atleast what I tested is the shovel.
I like to also equip Cavalry and have a stand off for as long as possible, staring them down through the little window whilst the game carries on around us.
No mention of the Satchel Charge? This is my go to. Throw it behind the shield guy for instant death. Or if they are charging you throw it in front of them and wait for them to run over it and boom.
I have almost that exact class setup for a while now. It's my trolling class usually when I'm bored and just want to explode the world. Only difference is I run blitzkrieg instead of Launched on mine as my launchers are strictly anti recon planes.
So far I've only been using the shield on Shipment and I play aggressively. The only time I have my back to a wall is when I'm capturing A or C with the shield equipped. Otherwise I'm running on the offensive
I just use the satchel charge on them and it works easily and I can kill a couple at a time, most the time they are running specialist and not hunker. Could just come in and finish them off too if they have hunker.

U can run that perk that lets you run and shoot at the same time . With the shield very useful it doesn’t expose you when your running.

So far my favorite is using expedition w/ saboteur and chucking satchel charges behind them. Going to try a few you listed here as well.

I mean you can literally sword with it, its surprisingly effective because its got like the fastest switch to and from the shield, but I use the 9MM in hardcore.

A shield user today sponged a glide bomb
I had a game of War this morning where I got matched in with a bunch of low-level players (think 20s-40s) and a Prestige 112 player running Calvary on the opposing team. It was so satisfying just popping him with the M1 Bazooka every time he came charging at the artillery guns
I have used the shield quite a bit now and its honestly not that powerful. It seems to be 90% of the time a 2 hit kill which is really bad and if you swap your shield for your weapon the enemy has a massive advantage because their weapon is already out to shoot you. Sticky grenandes kill you instantly. the shield is not something to get worked up over

It is always a 2-hit melee kill unless the enemy is already damaged. Even from behind( which I think is BS, as any other non-melee weapon can OHKO with a melee hit from behind).
EDIT/UPDATE: You may be able to use Shield Charge and get a OHKO! I will need to test this more thoroughly in a private match to confirm, but it appears that the actual Shield Charge, when you hit R3 ( on PS) and charge at them with the shield, can OHKO. I usually hit the melee again just as I get to them, rather than just letting the shield charge wait for its own proximity detection to get the hit, so I am not sure if my second hit of the R3 is what is getting the OHKO, or if it is simply the Shield Charge itself.
It’s not the most deadly weapon, it’s not intended to be.
You can improve your chance of killing someone when switching several ways.
The best two is to encourage them to shoot you. Ie turn a bit to show some skin, turn back or stand up.
They will often spray their mag.
The other option is to find enough cover to cover your body. Then switch guns.
This actually works quite well for some reason. You rarely should swap guns with someone looking at you, even without the shield.
It can be as deadly as you want it to be, if you learn how to use it. Using Serrated basic training would give you faster melee, and then you can just sprint around, get the initial Shield Charge from sprint, then follow up with a fast second melee. I actually got 22 shield kills in one DOM match using this, and didn't even have Serrated on it!

Counters to the counters
1. Moving around a lot can usually save you from being stuck with a grenade, and if you do get stuck then kamikaze their ass by charging them. You’ll still die, but so will they and if you hit it will count as assisted suicide.
2. If someone is rushing you to get to your side, strafe with them. It might leave your feet open, but people who rush often get too close to notice that in time and they end up getting smashed in the face feeling like an idiot.
3. Bazookas are clunky and slow, so take advantage of the Energetic training and sprint towards the sides of anyone using them and watch them panic as you charge at them faster then they can switch weapons. This works for rifle grenades as well.
4. The best offense is a good defense. Take advantage of your shield charge and patrol the entire map. Protect your team from tryhards going for kill streaks like molotovs and flamethrowers.
5. Befriend the opposition. Once people figure out that they just can’t get past your iron wall, crouch up and down or spin around as a little victory dance and they’ll start dancing around too. Have a good time with your new buddy before bashing his head in and repeat the process.
6. Tac knifes and melee weapons are useless in the face of a well structured team. Stay near your friends and keep your shield facing the enemy. Use Serrated to give yourself the upper hand and strafe with them to keep them behind your shield.

You can also throw c4 behind them to kill them. Im not sure if it sticks on the shield though.
I like your counters XCLUSIVE ACE but if u have experience with THE SHIELD is very hard to kill someone with it. I use the DUELIST TRAINING CARD and when im near the enemy i jump and swap weapon and destroy the enemy with the pistols .i use my same stragety from from Black ops 2

I'm really starting to like the rifle grenade overall now. It was pretty bad at its launch, but now it is a fairly decent and fun (but not overpowered) way to take out all type of players. Thanks for the tip Ace!
Guys i used wonderlust in offline mode against bots and found 3 new weapons possibly coming to the game...The weapons are a de lisle, a dagger,and a bren-like weapon plz like so others can see 👌

This is proper game design. Providing multiple counters to ballistic shields, and the counters make sense. Heavy pieces of iron may stop shrapnel at a distance, but they can't stop the concussive wave from an explosive's blast damaging your internal organs.
Likewise fire can easily burn around a shield.
For some of us we missed the shield like many miss the pick 10. The shield is my favorite COD weapon. Too many haters just want their favorite class and don't want others to have their fun.
Covinaman its not the shield itself, its just the way it's been implemented. If it was in the game from the start a lot less people would be using it because it wouldn't be a new thing, everyone wants to level up cavalry and you are forced to use the shield (unless you use wanderlust which is awesomely fun) it's the biggest shield in cod history, they can charge with it, it gives a stupid ass hitmarker for the shield for no reason, bullets sometimes hit a person's shield on their back when you hit them dead center mass which is a problem right now, you can't melee another shield with a shield, teammates shields on their backs or if they are holding it will block your bullets, you lie down with a shield and you are almost invulnerable to bullets and snipers can't 1 hit unless it's a headshot, and it causes you to stop shooting when you get melee'd by it. Just a few things.
Shields are as annoying as shotguns in this game, adding things that require no skill to use hurts the consistency of the game. I thing adding things that require time and skill to master, now thats worth having in the game and i would not get mad if i got killed because someone is actually skilled.
Anyone with no skill using this shield is just gonna get wrecked. It takes a good amount of skill to use the shield consistently and effectively if the opposing players have any idea of how to counter it.

If it is such a "No-skill noob weapon", how about you upload a nice video of you getting streaks with only shield. It is harder than you think, the only noob way to use it is sit in a corner crouched and troll players. But you won't get many kills like that! The shield is a tool like any other weapon; people with no skill can use it horribly, and people with skill can wreck with it.... and other people with skill can still wreck them back!

There's a chance you can counter the sticky gernade by putting a perk called hunker on the shield class, or any explosive, an easy way to counter someone trying to get around the sheind is to turn up the sensitivity, tac knives work well tho, I can tell you all this because ive been using the sheild since black ops 2, another thing, they will never nerf the shield, its become one of the most favorite classes in just a week now, if anything, nerf the LMG's, the only reason I use the sheild is because they are the ONLY counter to machine guns

wow , the rifle grenade destroys , I tried it for my 50 kills with rifles in war and i got about 30 nade kills lol , nice to hear them rage , I even got a lot of double kills with it.

Tip #1 turn your sensitivity up to 14 in order to stop flank attacks
#2 crouch alot just crouch
#3 don't run, if you do they can kill you
#4 use throwing knives , and smoke for optimal speed kills
#5 always push objective, always
#6 if attacking then make sure to hold right trigger in order to block at all times and only run when your sheild charging
I shoot the feet and get kills. I do love the knife/pistol idea tho because sometimes you hit the corner and there right there so feet aren’t always an option. Great videos as always.

Have enjoyed the shield, but been using this setup today and it works well and you notice people putting the shield away during the match. Good for WAR and Regular modes, but has become a bit boring and seems like a crutch set up, but when there are lots of shields I still pull this out.
My counter to the shield is to pre-order Red Dead II and play Fortnite in the meantime :)

C4 was another one that works well c4 + saboteur, also if they are crouched and you have a shield against another shield run jump and melee downwards on their head and you can hit them, works easier if you corner them cuz then it’s Garunteed kill

Noobs love the shield because they can finally contribute at a higher level. Good players use the shield because good players recognize what's OP and what isn't
As a shield user, there is only one way that is the most effective way to killing a shield user and that't to rush and turn on there right. Like you said, it will confuse us. Everything else here shield users can counter with certain ease, sticky grenades turn you into a suicide bomber, if you see someone with a molly or a flamethrower just run away or rush the bastard before he gets the chance, rifle grenades you can back up fast enough so that direct hits and explosions do minor damage (without hunker). Tac Knives are almost never seen, so its rare to go up against, but when you so see a tac knife, just switch to your secondary gun. As for giving chase, yes shield users will do that, but the second they see you turn the shield is back up, making you into a bullet sponge, and the enemy waste his ammo. This tactic is almost ineffective if you have the shield rush in Calvary.
A shield users job is crowd control and being a bullet sponge for the team. You are literally the wall between your team and the enemy. Almost all, except for rushing a shield user, is entirely counterable. On top of that one hit kills from behind are shield users best friend. The only sure fire way to kill a Calvary user is to gang up on him/her and push them into a corner, I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me on XBONE, but it works.

But, another method I found, but it happens randomly is that you distract the shield user and have someone else getting the kill from behind or the side of the shield user. Sure you may think that is just bland than the ones Ace listed and all people care about is getting the final blow, but some teamwork is important when facing these shielding guys.
Did my Tweet last night help contribute to your #1 tip? It wasn't until later in the night that I realized every time I died to a rifle grenade, it was when I was holding my shield. If the shield was on my back, I usually survived.

What I use to counter the shield is a LMG (Lewis) attached with rapid fire, extended clip, and steady aim. When I see a opponent with the shield I immediately shoot down by there feet if not in crouch position. If they are in crouch position I’ll just throw a sticky bomb at them either on the shield or too the side of them and get a kill.
They can charge at you while you throwing your grenade...
I've been using C4's (satchel charges). Have to aim well, but very satisfying. Ace, your class looks way more effective, stealing :). I did get a fury kill with a flame thrower in domination when they were all piled on the b-flag.
Here’s a tip for if you are using a shield: use the gun ho (or whatever the perk is that allows you to shoot while sprinting) and you will always hold the shield in front of you while you run.
If they’re crouch walking towards you you can still see the tips of their feet, if you can hit one of those tootsies with a shot from the PTRS, they’re done for

I think it adds fun to the game. I enjoy leveling the divisions,doing the challenges and doing the weapon challenges. I try to get a win but it isn't the end of the world if i don't.

I play hardcore and shields are a one hit kill, so usually I just throw a sticky at them. May put on expeditionary if there’s a lot of shield users.

Very informative video as always ACE. Love all the research you do. I have 2 things that have been bothering me that maybe you could shed some light on. First is more of a rant, why the hell does my master prestige name and rank show up in bright color for all my enemies to spot me light a flashing beacon? I would like to see a master prestige award eliminating our name in gameplay. Second, I don't know if it's in my setup but when I watch other U tubers or Kill shot cam I can see everyone's name show on screen but when I play I rarely see my opponents?

Been using the Tac Knife to catch them off guard i find it a good way to take down those shield users especially if you're a rush type of player.
I found that you can run Calvary without the shied the only draw back is you have to use wonderlust. But it isn’t as bad of a problem since you can still capture it objectives

I was using the shield, the my personal favorite counter that someone used on me is this: i pushed up on him, he went up a set of stairs behind me and then turned around and jumped down, shooting me from above. At first I thought it was a fluke so I tried getting him again and that worked Everytime he did it. Even looking up it was very difficult to prevent his counter
I love using the molotov killstreak. I was playing domination on shipment and thats what I used to kill shields trying to capture the point . Omg people were raging and the molotov its so easy to get and works perfectly. Also, the malee weapon thats works the best or atleast what I tested is the shovel.
The tri - bolt with explosive tips cross bow works as well or better than the sticky grenade in most cases I have ran into....
Sticky grenades do work nicely, foot shots and side shots can do it too.

I like to also equip Cavalry and have a stand off for as long as possible, staring them down through the little window whilst the game carries on around us.
No mention of the Satchel Charge? This is my go to. Throw it behind the shield guy for instant death. Or if they are charging you throw it in front of them and wait for them to run over it and boom.

I have almost that exact class setup for a while now. It's my trolling class usually when I'm bored and just want to explode the world. Only difference is I run blitzkrieg instead of Launched on mine as my launchers are strictly anti recon planes.

So far I've only been using the shield on Shipment and I play aggressively. The only time I have my back to a wall is when I'm capturing A or C with the shield equipped. Otherwise I'm running on the offensive
I just use the satchel charge on them and it works easily and I can kill a couple at a time, most the time they are running specialist and not hunker. Could just come in and finish them off too if they have hunker.
