I worked at Tesla starting in July of 2017 as an Operations Analyst out of the Bethlehem, PA distribution center facility and left as a Program Manager based out of Austin, TX as of September 2021. I spent most of my time in the distribution and supply chain organizations.
Before Tesla, I was a Director of Business Intelligence and Pricing at the largest Pet Food & Supply distributor in the US, Phillips Pet Food & Supplies based out of Easton, PA. My wife and I also owned a small business in Bethlehem, PA between 2016 and 2019.
I have been a shareholder of Tesla since 2012 and currently own Tesla stock.
My thoughts are my own and are not representative of everyone who currently works, or has worked at Tesla.

@@lamrof And sadly it reflects on the residents that can get on the wrong side of history. In wars, over 50% is very much in the wrong. When you start so many...you can statistically only end up with severely bloody hands. And the UN looks away every single time.

As for short sellers, who bet a company will fail and then spread lies, rumours and FUD to try to make that happen- I have nothing but utter and complete disgust for them. Short selling SHOULD be illegal. Period.
Tell me you know nothing about how markets work. But ignorance seems to be the required trait common among all Tesla stans.
Whining is a bad way to make decisions. Short selling is one form of price discovery. As long as the proper margin requirements are in place re the clearinghouse financial system, there is NO PROBLEM with short selling.
Over time, the reality re earnings will work out with the stock price. The VAST majority of Tesla short sellers were chased out of being short the stock. Naked short selling is INSANELY risky. No whining necessary.
Oh, and disclosure, I never naked short stock, since it has unlimited risk and options exist.
This was exactly my reaction when all of you opened my eyes at 67.Never too late for critical thinking. I drove a RAV EV and remembered how impressed I was with Tesla's engineers octivalve and the Cybertruck. You guys made me a millions!
My respect for Sandy’s opinion and I am proud that he has the courage to say it in public as it is. Now days the leaders of industry and the politicians do not have the ethics nor the courage to tell the truth in public. Thanks Sandy and Farzad for making this public.

To the extent I believe he "explored opportunities elsewhere" at least once.

He's OK, but I was kind of put off with him at the Tesla event acting like he's being paid or something to promote Tesla. Unbiased third party companies have to maintain a distance from the company regardless of how they feel about their products. otherwise, he might be compromised. He also can't own any stock of any company he's evaluating and reporting on, that would compromise his ethics.
Some of the best journalists know to never accept anything from someone you are reporting about, meaning, never accept anything other than a glass of water, maybe a cup of coffee, but never accept a meal, or a gift, especially in the type of business Sandy is in. Also, never become personal friends with someone you are reporting about as you become compromised. That's why I don't watch a particular News channel, too many hosts are personal friends with the politician they are the topic of their programs

That is too bad that Sandy got these kind of threats on what opinions we have on certain products. This world is going crazy. We all have our own opinions, but I don't to the extreme and decide to go hurt or injure someone or some place.
