Yay you are going to discuss Rod Pleasant. ❤🎉 I'm a big fan of Roderick Pleasant he has awesome potential to be great. He could play a lot of positions.
My first duck game was the Georgia game in Atlanta last year so much tougher than that Stanford game lol, and being near Charlotte I took my son to the FSU vs Georgia tech ACC title game before that rose bowl, after FSU won as were walking out all the FSU fans were chanting "UNDEFEATED " , I was chanting "OVERRATED " AND "GO DUCKS"
Spot-on analysis re: Nick Aliotti and his place in Oregon's rise - he always had the D ready to play great in BIG games - no better example than the NCG against Cam Newton's Auburn team (see Fiesta bowl vs Colorado when the Ducks should've been playing Miami in the Rose for the title as well)...baseball team plays long ball, which I enjoy as a former Pac 10(then)/minor league player; despise small ball...
Honestly, I had all the confidence in our WR group for next year even if Evan Stuart never came. Only woulda got Dickey and Kasper more experience for the '25 season. All that being said, that play in the Pac 12 championship made me a bigger fan of Holden and I see Dickey being a better Holden.
If you’re frustrated with Waz like I was after the game do yourself a favor and listen to his post game. You gotta respect the hell out of his answer on the blow up inning.
Hi Spencer, love the show! Andy staples predicts Boise state to make it as the 12 seed in the playoffs this year. Given Oregons history with them, is this a game you’re concerned about?
@@LockedOnOregonDucks I'm not saying he couldn't bulk up and do it, I just think he's capable as a WR. Juwan Johnson just looks bigger to me and he's still a tweener.
@@LockedOnOregonDucks Down the line it might be something that happens, but I also don't think a guy has to necessarily put up elite number in the context of having a stacked WR room at Oregon. It makes sense that the ball might be spread around more. If he tests well and keeps showing out in his opportunities I don't think the NFL will overlook it. I mean, I remember when Miami had Santana Moss and Reggie Wayne on the same roster as Andre Johnson. Not saying Holden is that kind of prospect, but take a look at Reggie Wayne's production at Miami. He set Miami records but only because he was a consistent 4-year-player. His individual seasons weren't anything special. Top marks were 48 catches as a freshman and 755 yards receiving as a senior. Still he was a 1st rounder and is a very likely hall-of-famer.
To me the pop candidate is Tez. He’s proven and Troy is no longer around. He should be due for a +700 yard gain if he clicks with Gabriel. Related to yesterday’s convo- remember that Dan Lanning didn’t really get to recruit our 20, 21 and 22 classes out of high school. Spencer, how much do you see our reliance on the portal changing over the next couple years?
Dan Lanning actually answered that question in a live video session. He said that he’s going to get to a point where he focuses more on High School recruiting and he will use the portal just to fill holes.
hello quackers,.. have an awesome day... Go Ducks !
You too!
I literally told my friend yesterday Oregon was going to sign Ziyare Addison (before the news broke)
Speaking it into existence. Love it
Now tell your friend the Ducks will sign Fasusi Utu and Dunn 😁
One of my first memories is being in cub scouts and being an usher for seating and watching Reggie ogburn play qb and running for his life every game.
Love it!

Favorite live event, OREGON vs. Washington. I'm sitting on the 20 i with my Dad in front of Kenny Wheatons PICK. Yes, I am old now.
KENNY WHEATON'S GONNA SCORE
Go Ducks!!!
My first basketball memories was Kenya Wilkins @Maccourt. I sat in the student section, I fell in love with the duckies that day.
Legendary venue.
GO 🦆🦆🏈!

I respect people that own up to their mistakes

He answered this in Friday’s show.
Just talked about this recently! Here's a link to that segment

@@LockedOnOregonDucks the one episode I missed😅😂just listened to it! Great insight on it as always!
@@willy_park77 All good, thanks for tuning in!
Sco Ducks!
Holden isn't going to be big enough to play TE, but he's plenty athletic to stay at WR. Juwan Johnson had a few inches on Traeshon as well.
Johnson is listed at 6'4" and Traeshon 6'3"

@@jirikurto3859 I hear you. I like his WR skills. I just wonder if a guy who doesn't have a 700+ yard season gets a shot to play WR in the NFL

Good question--and can I accept your first part of this comment as a bold take to discuss on the show?? Cause it's bold!
Go for it.
