Yes fans have said that for 10 years and winning a national championship but we shall see. Yes they are a good team but I still believe at least 3 or 4 teams are better. Just like last year fans said they would easily beat Washington and didn't. So be patient
Love the Ducks, but sadly they did not make the playoffs this season. The Pac-12 championship was essentially a play-in game, though. It should have ALWAYS been a play-in game, and if it had been the conference probably would still exist.
And to the AD and President and whoever else for hitting the coaching hire out of the park. Very few people, if any, thought Oregon would get a massive upgrade from Cristobal. Especially in recruiting.
Can't overlook class of '23 5-star WR Jurrion Dickey, who was the second highest rated WR Oregon had ever recruited. He'll sort of take the place of Bair while Bair is on his mission. And Oregon has some pass-catching TEs also, most notably in veteran Terrance Ferguson, who elected to come back this year. Weapons all over.
I think their biggest rivals in the "QB/WR Room" conversation are Texas and Ohio State. Texas' QB Room of Ewers/Manning and Ohio State's of Howard/Julian Sayin/Air Noland are both loaded. Both teams also have lots of WR talent and depth as well.
Gatlin Baer's 100m and 200m times are on par with Olympians at that age. He is not just fast in a straight line either he has moves and hops. With his speed, hands, size etc I think he would be the #1 rated WR in the country if he played where more people saw him play rather than #6. Its a bummer he will not be on the field for two years since he is committed to his Mormon mission.
