The best way to get everything in game is to start opening bronze packs until you have every common armor and helmet then open up the blue req until you have every uncommon and rare armor and helmet. Then you can open gold packs and you'll only get the good stuff. That's how I got everything except for the Achilles helmet.
shrek I just started playing again after about a year and a half, and I think that’s what I’m gonna do, I only have about 50% of everything in the game and I’ve heard that it’s a good tactic, I’m only really going for the halo reach armors, helioskrill armor and fotus helmet, those are my favorites.

Do you have Halo: The Master Chief Collection? Cause it comes with Halo Nightfall on the Halo Channel, and you can watch the fifth and fourth episode and get the helmet, and armor.
Prob because u don’t have all the commons and uncommons unlocked. That’s why I start with silver to get the below ultra rare items out of the way, then move on to the gold packs to get better items.
This is fake u can’t get helioskirll in a req pack u can get helioskrill bloodgulger and the other one but not helioskirll u have to get that in Halo mcc by completing every mission on legendary

Open bronze and silver packs first, then after you get all the bad stuff, start opening the gold packs
