Dijon was just a quick stop and a short vlog but it was so worth taking a day to stop and explore on our way to Switzerland! 😍 I’ve got a 40+ minute vlog on our adventures in Switzerland going live tomorrow! ❤️ Hope you all are having a lovely evening/morning/day 😘😘 Also, have any of you been to Beaune?! I truly wish we had gone but I guess we’ll save it for next time ☺️

What a great idea to do that from Paris. I want to do that now when I go back. I love train views! Here in the UK you can do a similar thing from London if you visit again. Good places to get the train for the day would be Oxford, Windsor, Brighton.

I’ve been to Beaune and the hospice is amazing. I love doing road trips by car in France. It’s great for antiquing as well. Check the Emmaüs in the areas you are driving through!

Appreciating other cultures is so important in our life journey, in my opinion. The old cliche that "travel broadens the mind" is very true. Travelling teaches us so many valuable lessons, perhaps the most important are tolerance and understanding of others. To watch you and Jesse soaking up all your travel experiences and to see the joy and wonder on your faces is heart warming and you are so kind with your interactions with everyone you meet. Switzerland here we come! xx

Dear Laura. Thank you so very much for sharing your amazing 30 Days in Europe with us. I was born and raised in England and was fortunate enough to enjoy annual summer vacations in many different European cities. With a perfect mix of travel, sights and food, you have captured the essence of Europe so beautifully. Your antiquing and shopping at the fabulous flea markets is the icing on the cake. You are one of my very favorite TH-camrs. Please keep doing what you do for ever and ever! oxo

I was so surprised to hear that you were going to Dijon because it's were I am from. Next time you should really visit some of the museums (most of them are free). the museum "le palais des Ducs" is amazing, particulaly the "tombeau des Ducs", i am sure you would have love it (they have quite a lot of medival art pieces). Plus, a new museum call "la citée international de la gastromie" just opened where you can have a taste of some of the best wines (Burgundy, Bordeau, but also from other countries) . Actually Dijon, like most cities in Europe is full of history. Fun facts, the city was already there during the roman empire ,the crypt of the saint benigne cathedral is over 1000 years old and it's the birth place of Gustave Eiffel. As you can see I love my city a little bit too much. It was fun to see you explore and have fun in Dijon. i hope you will enjoy the rest of your vacation and have a lot of fun memories.

I'm enjoying your travel videos very much. I am getting up in years and will probably never travel to Europe so this is the next best thing. I have the captions turned on and when you were digging into the creme brulee, and you said "bon appetite" the caption read "bone to the feet." I got a good laugh out of that.

You'll love Dijon! It's one of my favorite cities in the world! One thing you HAVE to do is find the owl on the side of the French church - the one in the city center, and both you and Jessie put your hands on it at the same time... legend says you'll be in love and happy for the rest of your lives, as long as you put your hands on the owl and say "I love you"! It's the church with the gargoyles! And there is no more Dijon mustard made in Dijon any more! But the locals still take their pots to the little store and fill them up with the Dijon mustard of their choice!
