Lets just appreciate how much genuine fun Theo is having while playing this 😂
Two things:
1.turn up voice volume on the characters or turn it up in editing.
2.dont full throttle at the start there's a point where the throttle should stay at.
Tahj-Wayne Hall Yes, for #2, push the throttle down until the blue RPM bar turns green and hold it there.
That way, you can get a “perfect launch” giving you a little acceleration boost.

Just a tip about the tuning system. The engine power/torque is BROKEN! Always go with power. The car will be so much faster.
It depends from platform to platform from what I heard.I don't remember the game giving you the Ford Mustang GT in the first area...The first area you picked (muscle,tuner,exotic) is all tier 1 upgrades and visual upgrades and in the other territories there are no races.Only after you beat the first boss you can go to the other two.And Theo did a good move by choosing muscle for the beginning,if he takes Angie's Dodge and fully upgrades it he will be able to overtake Wolf and Kenji before the first corner in the canyon..
I just use the 240SX that comes from the Collector's edition challenge series, you can get it as soon as you unlock the car lot, you can defeat every boss before darius, only then I change my car.
Works on PC version
Pants, just a tip! DO NOT be afraid to install upgrades. Money comes really easily in this game! Trust me, I just played it!
Yes, money does come easily, but then you finish the game, and money is almost impossible to get then

IMO, it's best to not grab any tier of upgrade except for pro/race. You save thousands and if you pick the zones correctly based on pro tier upgrades, you can win races against everyone using your first car right up till the last section of the city where the main boss driver is
@@loganmcauslin9430 I know. But when you drive a tuner in the last region and can't keep up, you sometimes have to install street packages.

Here's a quick tip: Scout is the best type of wingman because you can turn their scouting ability off and they will focus on racing. They will become mad fast and will win you most races.

Pro tip - if you want the best acceleration ( and you want it!) just stay with the stock transmission... It's better than the last trans all the way to acceleration
Cozea Dragos on tier 1 cars you do want after market since it performs slightly better

When you start a race, instead of reving up to the red wait until it's green and you'll get a perfect start

But only one of the three is active.
Neville will give the money bonus even if he is not the active crew member.He needs to be in your crew.The crewmen have two bonuses,the race bonus and the career bonus,the race bonus is active only when you race with him,the career bonus is active all the time,even if you race with somebody else in your crew,as long as you have the desired character hired the bonus will be there.That's all.
Also...Sal (the guy you did not hire) unlocks the autosculpt section.

for gods sake use the perfect start THEO
For some reason if you use a scout as a team mate and never activate their abilities, they will leave everyone in their dust, literally you just have to drive around the race and they'll do the work

Yeah it is...but it is only in automatic which I consider being bullsh*t.(Like a PC racing game with no "manual" gearbox is weird) (and theoretically in this kind of games you play on the sequential gearbox as you press A (next gear) and Z (previous gear),not pressing the clutch (let's say X) and selecting the desired gear (from 1 to 6 on the keyboard) )
I still have it installed on my computer somewhere...didn't play for like 4 or 5 months because I completely forgot about it and because I restarted playing Underground 2...A 60% gameplay for me takes around 7 in-game hours...Up until now I've got 1 or 2...Still got a lot to do...
