I loop the album while driving. Really enjoy, I feel like I can drive forever with these songs.
The reason Ed Sheeran has had so much success is because his music is authentic. He built a loyal fanbase through focusing on his craft, and not being pressured into sounding like other artists. He’s success continues to inspire me. Hopefully one day my music can touch the masses such as Ed Sheeran. But as for now I’m just happy being a fan.

Ed proudly sings his beautiful Irish heritage in his music (ex. Galway Girl, Nancy Muligan), and that can be really be heard in this song. Anyways, I searched Aberfeldy in maps and found it in Scotland. The song has a very traditional Celtic feel to it, so Scottish influence makes a lot of sense.

@Sara Mill He's an average looking guy. Media constantly forces us to see these celebrities as perfect versions of humans because of the photoshop, filters, makeup, etc. There's nothing wrong with just being an average looking person and I think it's great he hasn't fallen into the cycle most celebrities seem to.

I thought this song felt familiar!
So often music videos detract from the song - or simply "decorate" it. But here, Ed has produced two masterpieces that link energies and inform each other. The song is achingly beautiful. And the silent story told by the video enhances the heartbreak as well as the hope.

Just wow. It was so special to have a video for each of the songs, the videos were incredible as well as the songs and created so much emotion and even more depth with the visual representation of the struggles. This is another one of my favorite songs off this album. He is a phenominal talent and a songwrirer. Love him and his music
Grief doesn't have a way to be felt, or seen, or heard but for many of us its in tears, and creases and beautiful ugliness.....and then there are the unique humans that can take that grief and turn it into something so precious and personal and raw and majestic. It feels spiritual to know the events behind this album and then hear it. I listened to Subtract in it's entirety yesterday and then watched the visual album from start to finish today. Thank you for this wonderful piece of art. I send healing wishes to your heart and all the best to your little family for the future.
