Before I found you I made almost every one of these mistakes. Without trying to sound dramatic, your videos have actually changed my life. My makeup looks way better and lasts all day but most importantly it’s done wonders for my confidence (newly divorced and dating again, so I need all the confidence I can get!) Plus I actually enjoy my getting ready routine again. I purchased the Huda Beauty setting powder - it’s a GAME CHANGER! Thank you, seriously thank you for being you and for all your amazing content❤️
@@NinaUbhi1 I have a primer pallette from Mac, also a paint pot, and concealer also foundation. Hi Nina I would love to see a video of the more common eye shadow looks that clients ask for like smoky eyes or classic wedding eye look, etc. ☺️ Maybe something like the 5 best eye shadow looks for makeup artists to learn ☺️ Thank you for your videos I am learning so much ❤️
Yes! The way you break it down and the why and why not on certain techniques would help me enjoy and get more use out of my massive eyeshadow collection ✨️ ♥️
Thank you for creating this channel! It’s so REFRESHING that you show the technical side of makeup application and not just “social media hypes” you see. Once again thank you from SoCal! You are amazing!
Haha, I was the dont side the whole beginning of this year! I def learned and used Nina’s techniques and I’m getting better at the do side, which looks tons better! Hope everyone has a happy new year! 🎊
Same to you ! I agree w what you said- I actually did a decent job w a very dramatic Dior palette in blue( another of her vids, I used a diff palette in blue)I didn’t look like I’d been punched in the eye for once!
@@CA-lf7jt I seen that video and been wanting to try that! Glad it came out good for you. I’m getting better at applying color and blending so I’m gonna give it a go too
New to your channel! I am 63 and find these tutorials extremely helpful even for my age. I like a less is more approach because of my age and because I am uncomfortable with bronzer. I have large cheeks and your video on on to make large cheeks look smaller worked for me. I feel your overall methods will help me achieve a more elegant look without feeling too made up.
You are amazing, an 😇 angel! I am 39 and a mother of 4. Now, I don't usually have much time, lol, 10 minutes before work to apply makeup...but you have been teaching me the proper and sensible way to apply makeup. I really never new, or realized that technique and the way or steps you take make such a HUGE difference in the way your makeup look comes out! In fact, I have purchased lots of brushes and blenders and I have always been intimidated by them because I couldn't figure out how to use them, correctly that is. 🙃 So, thank you so much! Now I just need the time to practice these techniques so I can do them right and faster.
I love love love love this channel! So classy, informative, concise with awesome practical tips that are super easy to apply!!! Keep up the amazing work! You've definitely upgraded my makeup game!!
It’s been a really really long time that I actually sat and watched through an entire makeup tutorial on you tube . This was so educational and informative! Am definitely going to recreate using your techniques and post on instagram ! Thank you !
Thank you Nina very much for your detailed tutorial. As yrs flew by raising 5 children, I am now in my mid 40s. I’ve noticed myself applying less & less makeup. I don’t know whether I’ve lost the touch or don’t know the trick/steps anymore, but with your tutorial, I now feel more confident to applying makeup and bringing back my youth (me). Thank you very much Nina for your time & for sharing ❤️.
Soaking my makeup sponge thank you. My makeup at 36 was looking heavy and this small tip really made my finish so much smoother. You are gorgeous with or without makeup.
I love the "Dos & Don'ts" pointers. Yes, I am guilty of the "don't" side, but am looking forward to recreating my face make up with the "do" side and pointers. Great tip on using the setting powder for covering up the undereye dark circles and then using the setting powder again to blend all over for an even texture. Love the "underpainting" suggestions, looking forward to contouring again! Thank you, Nina for your expertise😄
I love how confident you are with yourself and the beautiful art you do. I absolutely love make up I always have but I am here to tell you that I am not a pro but I am very self-conscious of how I look when I apply my make up and go out in public and when I watch your videos you make me that much better on my A game. This is a little bit older of a video and I am working my way through all of them, but you have helped me so much with my technique. I love your bubbly personality and how you carry yourself and present yourself on here. You go girl. I honestly wish I knew where to start on getting sponsored with makeup and doing what you do.
I just need to say, you are an amazing makeup artist! You make it look so easy and effortless. Most people think they need to have heavy, caked, and very noticeable makeup. I feel like you use such subtle, blended, beautiful, natural, and seamlessly impactful looks that I absolutely love. I'm trying some of your techniques and they look amazing. It takes practice but once you get it down it makes a huge difference. Thank you for doing these videos. I love learning new things and perfecting my makeup look.
Hi Nina! Thank you so much for your tutorials. First time makeup user and they are really helping to take the fear out of the process that just seems really intimidating. I love that you encourage everyone to find whatever techniques work for them! If I can make a tutorial request, as a first time makeup purchaser, can you make a video on how you would pick out shades and colors for various skin tones? I found the process of choosing what colors to buy very hard especially on a budget. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Omg so many mistakes I was actually making. See this is the difference between a makeup guru and an actual artist. Love your videos. They have helped me so much. Could you do a video on skin correcting. I have dark circles so concealer alone doesn’t cut it. I get confused on which color to use if it’s more of a pinkish or peach color, where to put it, how much etc. 😊
Nina, I tried your concealer under fountain trick and totally loved it. I also used the two shades like you do and I just loved the look! I also took your advice and found a concealer closer to my skin tone (not to light) and it was so much easier to blend! Thanks for spending your time to pass this quality info on.❤
Another great video! I did not know that my sponge should. be double its size! I just soaked it the way you did and cannot believe the difference. Much better! Thank you so much! x
Hello, Nina! Great tips. I am passing along a eyebrow product that you may wish to try. It is called Good Brow Day by Profusion cosmetics. It is a waterproof brow tint gel. I love how it fills in my sparse brows, yet isn't too much, and looks more natural than the pencil stroke or felt tip marker drawn on brows. I tried it in dark brown and it was perfect.
Wow - just recently found your channel and even though I’m on the older side (turning 40 next month) the few videos I have watched has really helped me. Don’t get me wrong I still have a long long way to go, but it’s given me the knowledge to practice (if that makes sense) x
U are amazing, I have learned every trick, so many tips, & brush education & applications. I’ve been trying so hard to get hired at Este’e Lauder’s beauty counter for 3 years now. Watching your tutorials has educated me so so much and ur an inspiration to what I am striving for. Thank you thank you thank you❤
Great tips!!! I'm pretty new to your channel and so far I'm really enjoying them. Very informative and a learning experience. Happy New Year!!! Thank you.
I should mention it has a short spoolie type of brush, and you use the same kind of light brush strokes to apply it on your eyebrows, similar to applying your mascara.
So GLAD you said you don’t have to put a lighter shade below the brow!!! I never do it and don’t feel it fits me ! Just nice for you to agree 😂 all lovely tips!

Thank you Nina for the education! You've already solved one of my eye problems. I was having mascara transfer during the day onto the tops of my eye lid. All solved by following your simple tips to set eyes. Concealer under foundation, I'm a fan. I hope you feel better. Happy New Year from Sydney! See you next year 🎶

NINA, I was wondering if you could do a full face of Charlotte Tibury make-up and explain the benefits of using it. I know she states we will see a great change in our faces and look better. I'm thinking of buying her whole line since it's waterproof, sweatproor, water resistant because I live in Arizona, and our temperature ranges from 120 can go as high as 130. Thanks Nina
Thank you so much Nina. Your fabulous tutorials have really given me the confidence to experiment. I have a question - when I buff the contours with foundation and then set the powder, my contours disappear…. Any ideas to get that right ?
I personally agree that your do side looks so much nicer! It looks more like a natural, flawless, subtle make up look and although the don't side certainly doesn't look awful it is heavier looking and in my opinion more aging on the face
A Huge thank you for your educational tutorials through this year...and many more prosperous years to follow...you are amazing and I love your video's...all the best for coming 2022...❤👌💯
Hi Nina! I like the lipstick color in this video. Can you tell me what color it is? I clicked on the link and the only color that pops up is latte. I love the way you do your eyeshadow. I can’t seem to get it right for anything but I’m going to keep practicing. Thank you for all your tips
I very rarely wear makeup but for my senior prom a few years ago I paid $60 at a high end salon to have my makeup done by a “professional” the picture I showed her was completely different from what my face looked like. I asked for a medium glam look and I walked out looking damn near the same as I did when I walked in. In a panic I went to ulta (for the first time) and bought a few items I needed to finish the look & it came out perfect. You’d be surprised what you can accomplish with makeup even when you’ve had no experience.
Thank you for this video. I still haven't found the right blush brush for myself, and I was curious about the Mac 100 brush. It is no longer available at their website. Do you have suggestions for an alternative that I could try out?
Am I Crazy or do both sides look great on her?!!!! Being said .. I understand all the don'ts in the video and thank you very kindly for these tips. Especially on how to properly use a face sponge!! Best wishes! ❤
I totally get what your trying to teach I learned a lot and I would like to thank you for all that I have learned in the very short time I’ve been watching your videos in my opinion you and very knowledgeable very classy I look forward to another year of great interesting videos have a great New Years 💜
Hi Nina, I do like both sides! First I like the correct side because it has much cleaner lines & the eyelashes, eyeshadow is blended well. The other side I like because it's more highlighted with the concealer it gives you a more youthful appearance. I like thinner brows but both brows look great & I love the Anastasia Chocolate brow color & the MAC blush & lipstick just beautiful colors I've been looking for a peach blush & lipstick for a long time-thank you!! I'm going to buy the blush color & lipstick. I don't wear bronzer or false lashes. And I agree using the right brush to apply blush is very important♥♥
Oh my god, I love your style and your flawless finish! 👌🏻 just in 2 video’s you’ve taught me so much. You’re so sweet, beautiful and genuine. You’ve got a new sub!! 🤗
Hi nina I've just joined your videos they are awesome thank you. I have a question. Why don't you use a hydrater/primer or is that in the skincare process before the make up? Cheers Robyn
Do you have contact lenses in an if so what color are they and what brand are they?? I've been looking for a contact lens in the color your eyes are an I ordered some the other day but they were not the color I was looking for..An btw I love your videos!! ❣️
Thank you for the past several months. I've learned a lot from you. I can't wait for what the new year holds for you. I'm guessing you don't dye your brows. Why? I dye mine and find that's easier and better for me than trying to create nice looking ones from my orginal ones.
You make it look so easy! I really need to know how to use brushes, what kind I need and their purpose. I am 63, but I love dressing up and love putting on make up! I am from Portugal and my skin has that Mediterranean look/olive skin. I have invested so much money in make up! I have Channel, Armani, Burberry and charlotte Tilbury. I have watched way too many make up videos! What I have learned is that most of these make up artists are about selling the product that they use on the video NOT You! So, I get so overwhelmed and get so anxious that I don’t know what to do. Please help me! ❤️🇨🇦
I always strive to make transparent and honest videos based on personal preference and not based on selling products so hope you enjoy it! More topics coming soon!
I am saving up to buy high quality makeup and have been studying your videos. I am 30 and still have no idea how to do all this. I am just waiting for the video of how to choose the right foundation for your skin tone

Hi Nina! I like the lipstick color in this video. Can you tell me what color it is? I clicked on the link and the only color that pops up is latte. I love the way you do your eyeshadow. I can’t seem to get it right for anything but I’m going to keep practicing. Thank you for all your tips
Thank you! It’s ABH lipstick in Hollywood
Nina Ubhi, you are a wealth of valuable information. Thank you.
❤️
I just stumbled upon your videos and I’m a new subscriber. I’ve been binge watching. Thank u soooooo much!!!!! I’m learning soooo much
❤️❤️
Yes link in description
Am I Crazy or do both sides look great on her?!!!! Being said .. I understand all the don'ts in the video and thank you very kindly for these tips. Especially on how to properly use a face sponge!! Best wishes! ❤
I love how she learned me soo much in this video without making me feel bad abt the way i used to do it
I totally get what your trying to teach I learned a lot and I would like to thank you for all that I have learned in the very short time I’ve been watching your videos in my opinion you and very knowledgeable very classy I look forward to another year of great interesting videos have a great New Years 💜

This was game changing. Thank you! You rock!
Omg! This is the best channel ever! I am learning so much ❤️❤️‼️
My god. I really have been doing this whole thing wrong. So thankful
What are your thoughts on using a BB cream with concealer, rather than a foundation?
Yes you can for sure mix the two
Oh Nina! If only I had your talent and knowledge! 💕💕💕
Oh my god, I love your style and your flawless finish! 👌🏻 just in 2 video’s you’ve taught me so much. You’re so sweet, beautiful and genuine. You’ve got a new sub!! 🤗
So nice to hear!
I notice that your eye shadow never flakes off to area below the eye. How did you keep it from making a mess on your under eye concealer???
Nina just wanted to say how much I enjoy watching your videos, your videos are amazing and ❤ your work

Happy new year!
Hi nina
I've just joined your videos they are awesome thank you. I have a question. Why don't you use a hydrater/primer or is that in the skincare process before the make up?
Cheers
Robyn
Thank you! I do sometimes but depends how my skin is that day
Hiya I would like to ask how can i hide under eye lines and dryness
Thanks for this .. love it.
Do you have contact lenses in an if so what color are they and what brand are they?? I've been looking for a contact lens in the color your eyes are an I ordered some the other day but they were not the color I was looking for..An btw I love your videos!! ❣️
You have helped me fall back in love with makeup again thank you ♥️
Yay ❤️❤️
Thank you for the past several months. I've learned a lot from you. I can't wait for what the new year holds for you. I'm guessing you don't dye your brows. Why? I dye mine and find that's easier and better for me than trying to create nice looking ones from my orginal ones.
Thank you and happy new year! 😊
Fabulous as always Nina ❤️
New to your channel. Binge watching. You are fantastic and I have learned SO much!
I'm so glad!
Loved the lipstick, what shade is it please? X
Should be in the description
Thanks for sharing your knowledge!! XOXO
I am saving up to buy high quality makeup and have been studying your videos. I am 30 and still have no idea how to do all this. I am just waiting for the video of how to choose the right foundation for your skin tone
It’s coming!
I’ve learned so much from your videos. Thsnjs
This was so funny to watch you do the do side and don't side. You are such a lovely person inside and out, can't help but laugh, thank you for teaching us the right and wrong way.🤩
Thank you so much for your support! Happy new year! ❤️
