It's not so much just this video. This channel as a whole. Did you watch the story playthrough that he posted on Hard difficulty? Didn't get hit once. Not once through the whole entire story. I'm pretty decent at this game myself but I can't admit that I've played through the story without ever getting hit. Can you?
If all that matters to you is longest combo, you can keep on going indefinitely by landing one strike and evading, over and over again, with the occasional Disarm/Destroy or Combo Takedown to get rid of weapons and armored henchmen. You won't get hit, and your maximum combo will be as long as you want. I hit 500 once, and only didn't go any higher because I was getting bored.
LOL! Klif the only problems I have for with this game are the riddler trophies. The combat system is incredibly easy for me. And I guess it is easy for him to.
How are so many people amazed by this? Seriously if you are good at the game you SHOULD play like this! It is not like it is rare or anything seriously clam down people. We should be saying things like "Lets see Spiderman do this!"

In Arkham Origins we need this kinda thing again, a never ending battle against all kinds of thug gangs, some bosses maybe and definatelly challenge coop gameplay, not like we saw in Multiplayer, but actual coop never ending working together maps with people online a.d also offline with a second controller player....like if you'll agree with me.... :)

You need the special disarm and destroy upgrade. Press square and triangle for the PS3 or X+Y on the Xbox360.
