Dezz9820 Guess he forgot. In my opinion it sounds better , has more power, looks better externally and has a better launch control system. But the interior will never top the Germans and because of that I'd rather take a Golf R or a S3.

I think one of main reasons why I love Ricky and his channel is because he actually drives the cars how they should be driven.. gives them a good old fashioned thrashing around the country B roads. Perfect 👌 Also, Seeing those brakes that hot was surprising too! Awesome video buddy!
Reg Greetham Me too buddy. I started off watching JamieFYD videos but all he does is gun it for about 3 seconds before short shifting and making some high pitched noises. Ricky drives them like they are meant to be driven, refreshing to watch.

"it's not fords fault they just designed and used the wrong engine for the head and had head gaskets problem" kind of is their fault if they were building them with the wrong engines 🤔
Jake Greensmith That’s not what happened, some of the head gaskets for the version of the ecoboost engine in the mustang got mixed in with the RS ones which are very slightly different. Still Fords fault.

@@jryalls i work at the factory the RS is made and I can tell you it was not Fords fault . The company that delivered the gaskets mixed it sith the ones made for the mustang at they look identical so you wouldnt notice when building the car.

Are you sure the golf r and s3 weren't parked up? A facelift s3, golf r would not be pissed on by this at all. I have driven all three and I was massively disappointed with the ford in terms of performance over the other two. Having a dead arse isn't fun also.
Car Focused You get great results mapping the S3 and Golf R though. I'm talking about stock. I drove the 3 door S3 after the Focus RS, and the s3 was quicker although it was DSG. There is no way in hell the Focus just "fucks off from them", unless the drivers were terrible. Don't get me wrong I like the Focus but for a little extra you could buy a used Audi RS3, and that literally shits all over the Ford. Theirs countless problems with seat wear, engine etc. I personally couldn't live with it for that price day to day. It would be fun on a track though.
I'd take a golf R/audi S3 over a focus RS any day of the week
