I wasn't ready to like this. I couldn't imagine how Roger could pull it off live with such little accompaniment. But her sure did. But I still love Supertramp.
What a special gifted man! This is the most beautiful music in the world. You can feel the love pour out of his piano, his guitar, his voice, his heart. Cream of the crop right here. Lovers in the wind, lord is it mine, only because of you, some of my favorites. I can not overstate how incredible Roger is. He must have been sent by God because only a God could stir my soul the way these songs do. When you got it you got it. He definately has it. Very few sing and play multiple instruments at this level of perfection. Every note is purposeful not to mention he writes it! Definately in my top 5 of all time list maybe top 3. Thanks for these songs Roger you are the man!
Wow what an incredible decal you made of our beloved Roger! I agree with you, God only gives someone a talent and such a wonderful gift from Roger to touch people's souls because God knows how to touch our souls!
Love this song. Listened to Supertramp from the early 70’s as each album was released. Every one a masterpiece. Bring back lots of memories. Fantastic.
I'm lucky to have all this music, ah coming to me.... This is so true... I think we're really lucky to have Roger. Without him, I truly think I wouldn't be as happy and smiling as I am now. Thank you, Mister Hodgson : )
A essayer.. C'est LE BON!!!
My first ever concert in 1983 was Supertramp's Famous Last Words tour and I LOVED it! Houston, TX, The Summit! Great show. Thank you Supertramp and Roger for great music.
I never knew what a man was supposed to be I never wanted the responsibility I still remember what they tried to make of me They used to wonder why they couldn't get through to me But all that I had was this music coming to me And all that I had was this rhythm running through me I took a tip from the man from the ministry He said My son better work in the factory Well there were days I can tell you quite honestly I saw myself winding up in the military So lucky to have all this music ...
123ThisIsMe This song reminds me so much of my Father I grew up listening to Supertramp w my Dad. My Father played guitar and, was brilliant w a 12 string. I always loved when he would play this song. Now that he's been deceased these past 8yrs. It's at times hard to listen to this song also Even in the Quietest moments. That was another Supertramp song he played perfectly. It's been 8yrs today and, I had to hear this song. And, I must say it made me feel saddened that he's gone but, I didn't cry this time. I listened sang along while watching my children play. As if my Father was here w me listening and, watching his Grandchildren play as he only ever got the chance to know them but, my 17yo. My eldest daughter remembers him. The Lyrics from Even in the quietest moments perfectly describe how I feel about who and, what he was to me. " the music that you gave me. The language of my soul. Love, I want to be w you won't you let me come in from the cold. Then I create a silent movie. You become the Star. Is that what you are, Dear?
all that I have is this music...there's a lot of crazy people who don't remember where their heart is..c'est le bon Rodger....magnificent......haunting....
For once, I'm glad the studio version of a song I've 'tubed wasn't available! Roger and his accompanist, Aaron definitely do justice to this great song.
Tonight, July 12th 2013, he has played this very song in Barcelona. I didn't expect that. I thought he forgot the lyrics but watching this video I see he did it on purpose. ;)
I have been watching Roger's videos and I never knew this guy was so good. I heard some of the SuperTramp songs and they were OK but never enought to get me really interested. now I am seeing him perform songs I never heard before and they are great
It was a real surprise to hear that song played on that day. Roger Hodgson not only plays Supertramp's big hits, but also knows how to surprise his audience. The main surprise for me was when I first heard "a soapbox opera" played live, which is one of my favourite songs (just as "Crisis? What crisis" is one of my favourite all time albums, in fact). Wish he could play that song in Paris again on Friday night!
Great upload! Thanks :) I always loved this song. Roger's live version here is almost identical to the original version when he was still with Supertramp. But, he changed some of the lyrics in this one. I'm still used to the original lyrics ... so I put them out in my previous comment (below)
He said he hadn’t played this song in 25 years (albeit he said 25 years in french) and yeah i noticed the errors in the lyrics but nonetheless it’s amazing to hear this beautiful song again
Best songwriter and musician since John Lennon, timeless music, will live on forever in next generations never to be forgotten ❤
I wasn't ready to like this. I couldn't imagine how Roger could pull it off live with such little accompaniment. But her sure did. But I still love Supertramp.

Thanks Bill! God bless you as well! I forgot what I wrote but I just read it and I still agree with what I said lol!

Love this song. Listened to Supertramp from the early 70’s as each album was released. Every one a masterpiece. Bring back lots of memories. Fantastic.
Great video! Roger shines on stage, no matter who are there with him.
Congratulations Roger...you are a sensational musician
Roger can still hit every note!
Long time ago that I heard this song last time but I enjoy it each time. Roger go on playing for us!!!

It doesn't get more beautiful than that! 💖
These guys' smiles are so contagious. They warm you up right through, and make you feel special and alive.

I have never heard this song before. It is great like all of Roger's songs.
