We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, nine years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in Chennai, India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. We hope that our travels will inspire and provide our children with the confidence to meet new people, try new foods, and enjoy learning a new language. (Love they carry their own bags and never whine or complain like some).You are helping them to make the best childhood memories anyone can wish for...it would take some difficulty to beat when they are older and become parents themselves. You remind me of my parents. When I was 12 years old, my parents took my siblings and me to travel to Asia. We flew to Vietnam by way of the Philippines. Not many white Americans were traveling to Vietnam during this time (in the early 2000s). On my first day, I disliked it so much lol -- it was hot and humid and the sounds were so different. But, by the third day, visiting several of the beaches and being treated so kindly, it left a lasting impression on me. I traveled to Vietnam two more times (these times as an adult). It's one of my favorite places in the world. My point is: what you are doing as parents is wonderful. You are expanding your children's minds and love for the world.

Hanoi airport is reasonably new. Your bags look enormous for Carry-on, but maybe that is just the camera angles. I hope you had a great time
