@@amandacazares82 thank you, today is a lot better than yesterday. Getting my breath back and able to go out into society again. I regained my taste buds two days ago partly and today they are in full function thankfully :)

Thank you n.n it's been slow to return. Nothing smelled the same for weeks and some things didnt even smell. I lost interest in a lot of things while I was sick. It's all slowly coming back. 15 days later, I'm still coughing up stuff but I can breathe and not feel like I'm short of breath finally.
Soup: boiled for 40 years
Mouth: delicioso
Stomach: *was* alive for 23 years
Anus: gone.
It's actually perfectly fine and used to be very common back in the day, it's called perpetual stew. The thing that makes you sick is microbes growing in and on the food. If the food is always boiling then microbes can't survive therefore the food can theoretically be safe to eat forever.

I appreciate it. BUT after my stomach surgery my stomach has become extremely fickle, to any bacteria good or bad; like if I eat too much parmesan cheese the good bacteria will give me a mild form of food poisoning essentially. I'm SO mad I can't enjoy foods like this any more.

I'm kinda late, but it wasn't BOILING for that much, they turned the heat off at night. I may suppose they still just boiled it every day to kill off bacterias that may spoil it.

I so wish I liked to eat tripe, tendon and other “non meat”pieces. Would love to try this, that flavor profile is one of my favorites. Just can’t get over the texture of those pieces.

They keep that liquid intact for years and kept reusing it coz when you cook the meats repeatedly in that liquid. The natural umami flavor will be generated and it will create a distinctive flavor of the meat.

Nothing beats that feeling of going to Thailand on Eva air. I would say its my favourite airline so far. They serve Calpis which I have never tried anywhere else but I love that softdrink.

Went here last year. The soup is like concentrated beef juice. Same can be said about the mutton soup. Its worth the trek into Ekkamai for this legendary soup.
Hi Ravi. I keep wondering about "mutton" in certain regions. Is it sheep, is it goat? I know it varies but do you have knowledge about this? I'm not satisfied with the "google it" answers.
@@CassandrajustCassandra Hi Cassandra, a goat (or mutton as its also known as) tastes quite different from sheep. It looks like a skinnier version of a sheep sans fur/wool. It's quite a staple part of the Indian diet and possibly parts of China (dont have too much information on this). Just google Indian goat, and you can see the difference. I hope this helps.

@@mako6441 i dont think common bacteria will evolve within that time period of it being exposed tonthe soup. The type of bacteria you are talking about are specialized in the extremely high temperature environments and have evolved over millions of years.
