I think ALL resin artists are impatient--we get SO EXCITED to see if something new worked--thanks for sharing your experiments AND thanks to Daniel Cooper.
Thank you for trying it with color. I saw DC do it in clear. Awesome. Adding baby lotion to my shopping list.
Any lotion works. I used peppermint lotion lol.
I tried this too! 😂
I did a deer in the forest scene and I did a flower pot and watering can scene. It worked! Amazing.
Isn't Daniel a star! I've yet to try this. Your try at it is amazing! Great work
Yes he is amazing I watched your latest video pretty cool
I saw Daniel doing this too ! Glad you had it work for you.
I watched Daniel do this technique I was amazed so glad you did it too gives me a bit more confidence to do it myself thanks Marva . And I'm glad your friend is a little better fingers crossed she keeps progressing ❤❤❤❤
So good to hear your friend in on the road to recovery, that's truly awesome.
This is pretty cool, I had been wondering if something like this could work but was too chicken to try it myself.
I haven't seen Daniel's video, I haven't watched him lately.
I watch you and Beth (Southern Lady) every time y'all put up a video 😂 I watch other resin artists sparingly.
Anyway thanks for the video, catch you later 😊
Try a smaller scraper. An old credit card is a good idea. I use a playong card from a deck of cards.
Happy your friend is getting better. There beautifull.❤🏴👊👍
I can't wait to try this myself. These are really pretty. It's so hard to wait for the resin to cure. I love the colors. ❤
Super cool 😎!! I’m definitely going to be doing this!! Thanks for sharing 🥰
Very cool!
i saw someone used clear hand soap and it turned out really cool!
Yay, so glad it worked for you 😊 I get the patience thing, i am terrible sometimes 😂. Use a heat mat next time, i used mine again today on middle setting on my dial and was solid in 2hrs 😊😊😊 Congratulations again 😀
I saw your video I don't have a heat mat just a curing machine and I was afraid it would liqify the baby lotion for sure. Love your channel and your adventurous spirit.
@marvelous4363 It should be OK in your machine, mine held up on my mat on full power 😊
@daniel..cooper sound like a redo coming soon then..see if I can get it right this time.lol .any tips?
Great job! 😊
Fun video! Thanks
That's way awesome
I love that it’s very interesting 🤗🙏🐉❤️
I saw this just yesterday..it's so cool 😎
Yes I agree with you. It has completely changed my way of doing my resin.
Maybe try painting the mica one with white to make it stand out
way cool!!!
I have seen this done but one down side was that it left a residual effect on the mold itself.
Use alcohol pray 91% or higher to avoid bubbles and clean of of lotion.
You needed to use quick release spray to make it easier to demold.
So happy to hear your friend is doing better. She's going to be fine if she woke up panicking about her water bill.😂 I'm sure her daughter was so happy to be getting shit about mom wondering why she was in the hospital. 😂
I'm going to have to find some stencils to try this. I also want to try his galaxy in jewelry.
yes that is great news about your friend! thank God!
Waiting is one of the hardest things to do with resin😂. I don’t have baby lotion, wonder if it would work with other lotion, think I’ll give it a try.
Hope Daniel C's this 😊 video 📷
Why? It was a total fail all the way around. I just don't understand why people waste products like this. It was obvious from the beginning that this was going to tank. The lotion was unevenly spread, leaving the finished product looking sloopy, but are we really surprised? I mean come on. And un-molding so early is a waste as well.
@MydiqueHowt It wasn't a fail at all, it was a great test and I'm sure she will be more patient next time, we can't progress unless we try as artists 😊
@@MydiqueHowt Marva shows her success n fails, even if we try n do it perfectly, it can still not turn out like we hoped js
Use a bottle with a tip to put the lotion on. Its more controlled.
You can also use it to make parts of the stencil design more 3d like the boat wheel you can make the little circles higher or prouder if you will.
I have a question. Instead of putting the stencil and baby lotion on the mold can you do it on a dry piece of hardened resin. Thank you
Not sure the only problem with that is resin sticks to resin so the lotion would be there permanently
@@marvelous4363 yeah that’s what I want. I want to put something in the middle. It’s hard to explain I’m gonna have to mess around. Thank you
I wonder if chapstick would work? I think i might try that when i get a chance to get to the craft room.
Can't hurt to try
It worked for me using clear thick hair gel.
@@kimbates9715 I have clear aloe vera gel wondered if it worked with it
Any lotion or just baby lotion?
Any option as long as it's thick enough
can it be any brand baby lotion?
I think any lotion from the looks of his video. Just has to be thick enough to stay put yet easily rinse away after curing.
Try again granny
