Hi from France. My JBL Charge 4 stopped working yesterday while in use. I watched a few trouble shooting tutorials since yesterday and tried everything. I started thinking it was the battery so I was about to buy a new bat when I decided to search again for some more trouble-shooting videos and I saw yours. I tried it and IT WORKED!!!! Unbelievable. I am so happy, thank you!!!

But it did infact work. for anyone still having issues with this: 1) make sure it is NOT plugged in. 2) hold power AND plus button for 5-7 seconds and let go. 3) press the power button as you normally would to turn it on boom you should have power now. again, i tried this not expecting it to help as nothing else worked so far. somehow this did the trick. Thanks to your video I was able to fix my boyfriends jbl speaker he gave up Nd haven’t used it in like 2 weeks so today I decided to go on TH-cam and see if I was able to find how to fix it. Charge is not the issue .It's hooked to electricity.The bitch won't turn on.Im going to repair it alright . on the cement sidewalk .Into a thousand pieces.the end ofJBL
@@marcosfernandez779 I remember I was charging it cuz I thought it needed to be charged before doing the "power and +" at the same time. But for me it had to be unplugged, like not charging, and then I held "power and + buttons" at the same time for 5 seconds, let it go, and then pressed the power one time, and it turned on. @@marcosfernandez779 My jbl lights were never on, it was completely off, your jbl has a different problem, so most likely a different solution will work. Some suggest holding the "play and power" buttons at the same time or "+ and play' buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds.
IT WORKS!!! But also, my charging light kept flashing and wouldn't turn on. I did the other way too and it was still problematic. Idid what you did while watching then the charging light stopped pulsing. After a moment, i turned it on and works like normal again. Thank you so much! I appreciate you posting this.

Same here. Plugged it into my windows pc to charge the speaker up. Windows made a connection chime (like if you attached a drive) and the speaker refused to power on after that - also unplugged. Unplugged it - did the power + "+", and presto. It works again.
@@jailiengonzalez2712 Sorry to hear that. Did you try seeing if it still charges at all when plugged in? When mine didn't power on, it was still able to charge. I could see all the lights blinking at least. If you don't see any lights, it could be a battery issue that needs to be addressed. My MacBook type c charger works with my JBL so maybe look into the battery issue? Not too sure 🤷♂Hope you're able to get it fixed without going to get it fixed 🙏
Ive had mine for about 5 years and I use it for sound for my PC because it beats regular PC speakers and way less cables than a soundbar since it can bluetooth. Yesterday mine just stopped working and I was like damn... Started looking around for possible "fixes" and nothing worked except this method. I had to do it a couple times and I switched power cables just to be sure but it started working again. Thanks!!!

Me and mom use ours on kayaking trips and I thought I messed it up by plugging my new iPhone 15 into the charge port thinking it would charge the phone but I thought it shorted the speaker and this my friend is the only video that helped. I Was going to give up, fortunately, i saw your video and tried as you did at first but did not work. Then i held the BT and power botton for about 5 seconds and it turned on correctly. Thanks

I was in Wildwood today and it was not working. Just got home and say your video and bam, it worked. Wished I would’ve TH-camd it when I was on the beach.

I don't know why it keeps happening, but my speaker while fully charged will send out a funky noise lol and then shut off. I can't leave without my homie, JBL 4. I think I need to go buy about 3 more. Just in case. Thank you, I got it working again. I love TH-cam and I love the people like you who put things on TH-cam that can helps us all.

My brand new jbl flip 5 didn’t turn on at all. I charged it but the light kept flashing. I used the power button and the plus sign held down until the flashing light went away and now it works normal. Thank you bro🙏🙏
works for Pulse 4 as well! speaker was off but all the lights on buttons and charging were on and it didnt respond to anything. Did like he said speaker lights went off and I'm able to turn it on again! Thank you very very much!

Worked exactly as you said! I removed mine from charging and held "power and +" for 5 seconds and pressed the power again and it worked!

I tried it un plugged the lights at the bottom tern on but that’s it it still does not turn on
