Thanks for having me Nick. Sorry I’m so awkward and nervous.
A bit more info - most of my FX for Chelsea’s Vocals change song to song and are snapshotted in Live Professor.
The reverbs in desk are light and mostly just to give some space to mix.

Dude you were far from awkward haha! But you know, we're all a little awkward if we're in this realm of music. This is the first time I've watched someone talk about this stuff and actually been able to understand what they were talking about!! Also, you are insanely good at what you do. Also, wild guess, but is the Death Cab song that you use to tune the PA I Will Possess Your Heart? Because I am just now realizing that is actually a brilliant song to use for that considering you get long stretches of instruments being added in!

Thanks for this! Saw her tour opening show in San Diego & was blown away by the sound engineering. Drums were clear & monstrous, bass was levitating the crowd, guitars were crunching the ether, Chelsea's voice was opening portals. Extremely noticeable how excellent the sound was.

This is really awesome! I just saw Chelsea Wolfe a few weeks ago in Minneapolis and was blown away by the sound. I was standing right behind the sound board and didn't realize I was standing behind this guy haha! He clearly knows his stuff. For how much was going on it was incredibly well balanced and sounded perfect. This is also the side of things you don't get to see much so this was incredibly fascinating!

F-x are the hardest to get right….other than the obvious heavy cue…..they should sit in the mix which in my experience means riding the faders
