Seen the first one before; the trooper either knew him, maybe he was a retired officer in plain clothes, or the man was reporting something to him. Would never have stopped otherwise. Instead, the man would have found himself on his arse looking surprised.

In my opinion, I would say if you don't respect the guard which is your right, don't stand in front of them taking a photo of yourself with them! I don't know what that one guy, that the mounted police officer kept grabbing his back pack and reiterating whatever it was she was scolding him for...but I'm glad she persisted!
Apparently they were queuing for something and this guy kept trying to cut in the front of the line. He was told to cut it out by the mounted police and then he promptly started to walk towards the front of the line again so he was followed and grabbed.
I’m an American and can’t understand why people would disrespect them in any way. Those men and women have achieved high levels of training and undergone a lot to get the privilege of serving there. It’s history ,tradition and dedication ! Who doesn’t believe in those qualities ? Personally as a life long horse trainer ,I would put barricade ropes no closer than 10 ft from the horse guards.

The first guy is a POS to bad the guard didn't have cops near by .I thought he should have been arrested or removed. What really makes me angry when people give the guards hassle is the fact that they see these guards as tourist attractions, but these guards have more than likely seen war and maybe even seen some of their friends killed. Yet they have to come back and deal with these selfish and self cantered tourists. I'd love for there to be one guard who just waits and when a tourists is disrespectful, the guard comes up, gives them a slap and drag them by the scruff of the neck out the yard onto the street.

Perhaps there should be controlled lines where the guards march so that the tourists stay out of that pathway? People are people and they will never learn to show respect for others doing their jobs.

But the governing bodies welcome their money so the locals have no option but to suffer the consequences and the military have their hands tied and limited to what they can and can not do to control the tourists. There is a lot of truth in the love of money is the root of all evil 🫣. Governing bodies are going to have to answer for their deeds one day 👆🙌 😊
