Is it me or is the "standard camera" more stable than the PreRes footage? The standard stuff looked to be super smooth whereas I noticed more movement in the ProRes.
The BIG issue I have with a Pro Workflow with ProRes is the very slow USB 2.0 connection to transfer the huge files. It‘s a step in the right direction, but honestly, the hardware must catch up for a more professional workflow.
what would you choose - making millions on cables or give users comfort of using fast usb3.1 but make no money? :D apple made its choice. telling us they care about nature and stuff )) the only thing they care is amount of money they make
you can turn off sharpness in every single smarthphone existing, except for previous iPhones. Thats why apple decided to introduce prores. Its not a new feature, its something they should have added for a long time. :D
Can you clarify a bit on how these were shot? Did you shoot the prores footage using manual exposure in the FilMic Pro app, and the standard camera footage using the default camera app with automatic exposure? Or were they both shot in FilMic Pro? Was any kind of post correction done on either sources, or is this straight out of camera?
This is the real question we need answered. ProRes is a type of RAW format right? So in theory all of these would be edited in post anyway, so how do the corrected version of each video look?

have u campared the colours 🙃
@@Uniyalji_01 colours can be adjusted using a software but , the mixed frames, stability and stuttering can't be adjusted that much
Bravo! You guys really know your stuff! Excellent comparison. Thanks for this!
:D apple made its choice. telling us they care about nature and stuff )) the only thing they care is amount of money they make
Use USB Type C
OMG this is stunning
Any way i like the yellow jacket
Me too, haha!
Wow Amazing of photos ❤️
the Pro res looks amazing... doesn't have that oversharpened look we find in all other smartphone cameras
you can turn off sharpness in every single smarthphone existing, except for previous iPhones. Thats why apple decided to introduce prores. Its not a new feature, its something they should have added for a long time. :D
great shots, great locations, great color grading and great ending!
Wtf! The difference between ProRes and Standard is so big. Anyways it just depends on who is using the camera.
So amazing and beautiful places
That “prores vs standard” comparison is more like about exposure and white balance. Difference in details is not so significant.
Agree, but not if you're watching the originals. TH-cam compression is so high it pretty much wipes the extra details.
But you can tell that the "standard" video is processed
I noticed that too. The file size is significantly different though
I need this phone! That camera setup looks amazing!
Prores, to the amateur's eyes, appears to have a bit more shadows. The difference isn't significant and can be adjusted with editing.
ProRes has less artificial sharpness and more details.
Very nice video! Thank you
ProRes looks so amazing... And cinematic too.
PRORES ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ iPhone es una bestia
Its gonna be a helluva difference with 13 pro max after owning XR for the last 3 years 😂😂
Bro its all about your skills and video editing ❤ great skills man loved it 🥰
Can you clarify a bit on how these were shot? Did you shoot the prores footage using manual exposure in the FilMic Pro app, and the standard camera footage using the default camera app with automatic exposure? Or were they both shot in FilMic Pro?
Was any kind of post correction done on either sources, or is this straight out of camera?
This is the real question we need answered. ProRes is a type of RAW format right? So in theory all of these would be edited in post anyway, so how do the corrected version of each video look?
Thank you for this video, This is a really good comparison video.
My pleasure, thanks for watching it !
