There's been a thing in my area where people paint smooth rocks and leave them around for people to find and take. I've been toying with the idea of painting tiny terracotta pots and planting aloe and spider plant babies to leave around town. They have to leave here somehow and that might be a happier way than what I was considering. 🗑⚰️🪦😂
I think Ross' jade plant and the one you have might be different species/variants. I have both of them in the same conditions and they still look different. Love your videos btw and would love to see more of Joli 💚
I love the epic nerd you’ve got sitting there in a Dino onesie. (Like MAJOR EPIC WIN ROSS!), and his lovely collection of tradescantia. The pinky - I find mine more pink most of the time - is a Nanouk
I love the way Ross says “ Scots”. He had it down perfectly. Off subject but a lighthearted moment for me nonetheless. You will love the epiphyllum! I have one and it has huge red flowers when it blooms.
Aww love this video! You two! 😍 also loving Ross' catchphrase, I'm all up for that staying! 🤣 your second pink cutting is an Iresene Herbstii (Bloodleaf) Blazin Lime 😬🩷. And so glad you loved the Joli keyring! Hopefully see you again at Another Swap soon! 🤞
Had such a good time at the swap! You gave me your hoya bella, but the green spider plant you got from the free table was mine, so I guess we did an indirect swap! The hoya bella is doing well so far😊
What Ross got is a Tradescantia Nanouk, make sure to give it a lot of light. Mine grows so quickly and even blooms with small pink flowers Such elegant beautiful plant
Damn you Ross. Every time you took a swig of your drink, I forced myself to take a sip of my beer I had while watching. Thans for making this a great VLOG.
Just a note, your sound on your video's is a little low. I find myself turning up the volume quite a bit to hear you clearly. I love how the two of you bring out the nerdiness in eachother. You don't even have to spray some succulent leaves. They will root with just light and no water.
You’ll love that Thanksgiving cactus when it’s a nice big plant, I’ve ended up making 2 plants as my main plant is very pink from stress through winter. But when it was in bloom they were so nice to watch grow and open
Never been to a plant swap, but this seems like great fun! Loved your tent, the audio was fine- I could hear everything w/o issues. Am truly enjoying your Vlog. My brain is soaking up plant knowledge like a spider plant! Thanks for sharing all you do- you guys are great.❤
The tilandsia is an air plant (or a bromeliad ) and is related to orchids, they propagate through pups or offsets, they have to flower first and the main plant dies and produces multiple baby plants called pups from under dead leaves and i don't know when to remove them, but around when the mother plant dies or when big enough.🙂
Also, Ross’s tradescantia is a tradescantia nanouk😊 They grow like a weed and can actually be popped straight into soil and they’ll root no problem. It’s a super fun plant to grow!
Wish I had made it along to the Scottish plant swap, next time for sure. Any tips for caring for Hoya Bella? I can't seem to keep mine happy, it's droopy and sad xxx
Awwww lovely plants. Enjoyed watching that. You two are great together. Are you going to the Birmingham plant swap? I got my ticket Monday..my first swap 😃 can't wait!
About the color of the bluey silvery plants: I think you're both right! I'd say most bluey plants are green overall, but definitely a green that has more blue in it as opposed to a green that has more yellow in it! I think calling them blue is totally fair, because nitty gritty color is pretty relative, so like in a vacuum, yeah that's green for sure, but next to a more yellowy or neutral green they read more blue, which is helpful in the planty world where you've got differentiate between like 5 billion shades of green lol
Gorg begonia! It definitively props well in water…however i just cant seem to keep them alive there after🙈. May i ask what potting medium do you use? Loved the vid!💚
The tillandsia need to be left alone. In the right condition they will flower and after they flower the main plant grow little plant at least 1 but can be like 5 or 6 in one cycle. Sadly the main plant die after they grow pups
Saludos 💌
Scotland is well known for it’s ability to display all 4 seasons in one day! Hope you two enjoyed your jaunt around Scotland!

I like the rock thing and your idea of the painted pots with plants 🌿🌵🌱🌿🍃 how cute😉
A plant swap😮 how 😎 I've never heard of such, but I'm new to the plant 🌵 community so that could be why. How cool though 🧡
That little dog face 🐶 key ring is the cutest 🤗
Hahahahaha that editing when he sweared 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Glad you had a great time in Scotland, hope you'll be back soon!
I like that Jade plant 🌵🌱🌿🍃🌱🌿🌵
I think Ross' jade plant and the one you have might be different species/variants. I have both of them in the same conditions and they still look different.
Love your videos btw and would love to see more of Joli
💚
Enjoying the new filming venue 😂😂 and the new Ross “blink blink” addition 😂😂”it’s green 🤨” 🤣🤣
The pink tradescantia is called tradescantia “nanook”😊 and you can propagate it but just putting the cutting in soil and it’ll develop roots!
I love it, it’s basically a weed
You have amazing cuttings to share......
Fabulous swap. I am so happy you were able to save the spider plants. I love those!
I love all the cuttings ❤😊🎉
That key chain someone made for Claire is amazing!!!! 😭😭😭😭💯❤️
Bill and Ben,the flower pot men!for the little Echiveria
You two could not be cuter together! 😄
I love ❤️ the plants 🌵 you guys got ❤
Ross is adorable ❤ you two are so cute together !
ross' reaction to "self heading" was CRAZY
You guys are awesome together!! Does Ross have an Instagram for his pink plants....hot guys with plants are always worth a follow 😅😊
You all are too funny!
Yes!!!! to the Friends reference 😍😍😍
Every single time I try to pronounce plant names, my husband’s default answer is to make a funny face at me and just go, “bless you.”
I love the epic nerd you’ve got sitting there in a Dino onesie. (Like MAJOR EPIC WIN ROSS!), and his lovely collection of tradescantia. The pinky - I find mine more pink most of the time - is a Nanouk
Do we dare tell Ross He can bonsai his Jade?
Pretty sure the tillandsia (spelling? ) is a type of bromeliad, and propagates via pups... we sell them at my work
I love the way Ross says “ Scots”. He had it down perfectly. Off subject but a lighthearted moment for me nonetheless. You will love the epiphyllum! I have one and it has huge red flowers when it blooms.

Lucky people getting the Albos ❤ Looks like a great plant swap. I have never been to one. Thanks for taking us along 👍👍
You two are adorable together 😂❤
Had such a good time at the swap! You gave me your hoya bella, but the green spider plant you got from the free table was mine, so I guess we did an indirect swap! The hoya bella is doing well so far😊
Nanouk! Tradescantia Nanouk. Love it. It’s my favorite. Can grow really nicely in pon, especially after rooting in water 😉💗
He might be called Ross, but he clearly has Joey’s sense of humor 😃
😂 his face at “self heading”
And yet looks like he should be called Chandler. He's the best of all three😅
😂👏👏
What Ross got is a Tradescantia Nanouk, make sure to give it a lot of light.
Mine grows so quickly and even blooms with small pink flowers
Such elegant beautiful plant
The Tillendsia is an air plant & it will produce pups; can’t cut to propagate. Thanks for sharing.
Lol... Love the planty humor😂
Damn you Ross. Every time you took a swig of your drink, I forced myself to take a sip of my beer I had while watching. Thans for making this a great VLOG.
Great energy between you two. Great swap, I only wish we had them in our area.
Just a note, your sound on your video's is a little low. I find myself turning up the volume quite a bit to hear you clearly. I love how the two of you bring out the nerdiness in eachother. You don't even have to spray some succulent leaves. They will root with just light and no water.

Tradescantia nanouck for sure ;)! I have it at home too
the pink tradescantia is also know as tradescantia nanouk. grows fast, greg at propagation
She’s a tradascantia Nanook. Love mine. Took no time to go from one cutting to a full pot via water prop
just starting my plant journey and you have been soooo, helpful thank you
Never been to a plant swap, but this seems like great fun!
Loved your tent, the audio was fine- I could hear everything w/o issues.
Am truly enjoying your Vlog. My brain is soaking up plant knowledge like a spider plant!
Thanks for sharing all you do- you guys are great.❤
I’m sorry to say, the Brandtianum is green.
In my experience raphidophora decursiva prefers to be a crawler 😊
Dying at your editing out swear words 😂 I watched it multiple times to figure out what I was watching 😂
Maybe check the Hoya Rosita for flat mites? Not sure if that is the cause for the discoloration but better to be safe than sorry!
What a fun adventure!
Also, Ross’s tradescantia is a tradescantia nanouk😊 They grow like a weed and can actually be popped straight into soil and they’ll root no problem. It’s a super fun plant to grow!
You beat me 😂
I agree ❤
I really enjoy the videos with funny man Ross in them
Absolutely love your channel❤❤
😂 The way the swearing was edited out with plant names was so funny to me.
Omg I’m dying laughing at the plant name edits for his swearing 😂😂😂😂
Silvery blue with green veins😉
It looks to me a more greenish grey than say the bluish tint you get on on some plants. It might well look different in reality though?! Xx
Wow he got alot of great plants, some really pricey ones too
You both are adorable.
Its Nanouk Claire. great plants
The thanksgiving cactus May also have pink flowers. You will see and maybe Ross can have it.
The Tradescantia is called Tradescantia Nanouk.
you 2 are very funny...bouncing off each other .... nice job 😅
Wish I had made it along to the Scottish plant swap, next time for sure. Any tips for caring for Hoya Bella? I can't seem to keep mine happy, it's droopy and sad xxx
Want a blue plant, check out the Blue Oil Fern. There are different varieties of Jade plants.
Awwww lovely plants. Enjoyed watching that. You two are great together. Are you going to the Birmingham plant swap? I got my ticket Monday..my first swap 😃 can't wait!
You to are fun to watch 😂
The tradescantia looks like a tri-color, or Nanouk
The tillandsia as it gets older will send pups(baby plants)
The scarring on your h. Rosita might be from mites

The term for those types of plants is "glaucous". Philodendron Bipennifolium counts as a glaucous plant as well
Gorg begonia! It definitively props well in water…however i just cant seem to keep them alive there after🙈. May i ask what potting medium do you use? Loved the vid!💚
oh my goodness.. ross is the pun king🤣
Ross is so cute
The tradescantias are nanouk(don't think I spelt it wright 😬) but they are very fast growers and if you're lucky, it'll flower lital white flowers
18 min, that's a Tradescianta Nanouk!
Tillandsia can be propagated by division
The tillandsia need to be left alone. In the right condition they will flower and after they flower the main plant grow little plant at least 1 but can be like 5 or 6 in one cycle. Sadly the main plant die after they grow pups
If there are any amazing plant swaps like that, in the states, I would love to know about it.
Me too
Ross is so funny 😂😂
Showing off your plants in the tent was metal haha
That is a nannok the one he already has the purple one an this one grows strait up I have 4 different ones
Ross wearing his name tag so you don’t call him Robert. 😂
That pink tradescantia is the ‘nanouk’ variety. Be careful not to overwater since those thick stems and leaves are prone to rotting!
I should also mention that I'm disappointed the footage of my bum didn't make the cut 😔🤣 thought that was gonna be my big break 🙄🤪
the "censorship" made me laugh! 🤣
Yoshi eggs 😂
Also "rosita" means pink in spanish
Love you too
I thought that was Minkus from Boy Meets World.
That's a tradescantia "Nanouk"🙂
Im probably dating myself.. but I would name the "party time" Wayne for Wayne's World.. 😅
Then the other needs to be Garth.😂
Excellent!
My thought exactly! 🥳
👍👍👍👍👍🌱🌿☘️
Funny 🎉
Who's the strange fella ? And why the stranger pull over ?
😂❤
Girl, go see a hairdresser 😂
