He is talented, no doubt about that. But I feel like sometimes his work is over appreciated because of the popularity of the singer. Now it just became a trend . There are so many beautiful writers hiding out there. it is really hard for a new lyricist to show their talent because most of the times these singers even do not care to take a look at the actual lyrics. If it’s coming from a branded name then it is just considered to be good. This is kind of sad, you know 🌷

I think Manu has answered your point in the program himself as use of illegal drugs unintelligibly, lack of common sense, insensitivity or over sensitivity and naught of vision have terribly affected the youth's attitudes.

@@pamodmadhusara not sure I’m following. I agree he has a very sharp social view and this is nothing personal about him. What I wanted to say; the value of the lyrics are over shadowed by the popularity. As a lyricist it is really difficult to get a chance in this industry without connections or money, even if you are really talented. This is merely because many singers believe it is best lyrics if it is written by someone famous. it is just sad 🌷
