Can you actually buy any of these scooters? (USA) The only ones that interested me were the Ather and the Gogoro, because of the higher speed and range.... (70mph would be completely idea, but 55is on the low and 50mph might be too slow) at a heck of a low price? The only other issue is do you actually own the batteries? Can you charge at home?
Hello, thank you for your comment. Somehow the American market seems to be behind, when talking about electric scooters. There aren't any new models that were introduced but there are several older ones that could be bought in the USA. We are actually working on a video like this. Hello, thanks for your comment. It seems that 70% of them look new to you. And there are certain scooter design standards, so it's hard to invent something new. Also, we are currently making a new video about electric scooters, so you may want to check back in a couple of days. Maybe those would look better.
Similarity to customer accepted designs means less resistance to accepting the new drive system.

After 10 of these videos...has anyone really looked into "cheap electric scooters or E-bikes?" has none of these reveiwers heard of amazon...alibaba....or even Texas motor sports? You can get a e-scooter for less than $500 u.s. on most that outperform any of the bikes on every review i see here!
Those cheap ones on Amazon and Alibaba have lead acid batteries not lithium batteries, that's why they are so cheap :)

E-bicycle ,E-scooter ,E-car ,...etc all are very good, ecogreen , ....etc You need local state or government to compensate 50% price and set up all the electric stations .Or else people still find that petrol-motorbiks/Car are three/four times Cheaper/Economic very much better than using Electric Vehicle !!!! A good example is Gogoro in Taiwan ,or else nobody want to buy E-scooter . Majority Citizenship not afford to buy very very expensive E-scooter !!!!!

The range for the AppScooter is wrong. It's 240 km with all three modules installed (yes, only three modules, not six that I saw mentioned in another video), at 20 km/h (which is ridiculously slow). In real life, in 45 km/h, I'd be surprised if the range is more than 150 km, which is quite good anyway, compared to most other scooters out there at the moment. But 240 km? Just forget it in real life.
I wonder why they say these high numbers. Shouldn't that give them a bad reputation when all buyers gets deeply disappointed?

But seriously tho, as much as I love scooters, these aren't for me. The designs are pretty meh, and I really don't like the footing (I'm sure I can't be the only guy to find his knees clanking together to be rather uncomfortable).
And there's just so much plastic! I wonder how much the price would go down if it was left with a bare frame

The price is right. But looks like female's scooters. If I was riding these scooters, people would look at me funny and look like we taking sh....t when we were sitting.
Hello, thank you for your comment. From a manufacterer's point of view, we doubt that there is such thing is a female scooter. They are all compact and look like regular scooters. Some of them are futuristic and some of them have retro styling. As for funny looks, those, who are brave enough, don't mind much what others think ;)
PS: Niu is a sports version called Niu N-GT, would you consider riding something like that?
