Good vehicle, with a good acceleration. The only thing, I didn’t like, was the gearbox. It works a little bit unusual, similar to DSG, but slower. It has a good interior, good exterior. And very attractive driving! I recommend this car for sure.
@@jolyonpalmer4527 no I know what he means... the gears are pretty long just look when the car upshifts it's just right above 4k rpm which definitely aren't 224hp. That's the downside of having a 7G instead of 8 or even 9.
I plan on getting this but am interested in doing some tuning to it. Would it be worth it doing a stage 2 and getting a nice exhaust? Or just the tune?
Tempted to get one of this but really scared about reliability issues, a lot of people seems to have all sort of electrical problems and with transmission, since i Keep cars way past the 2/3 year warranty period this could result in a long-term problem for me.. Did you had any issues with it?
mosquiton001 my friend, I have a huge experience of driving new Mercedes-Benz cars. I can tell you, that, unfortunately, it’s a very UNRELIABLE! We used to have about 50 cars in own of our company and my private use, there are a lot of problem with: 1. Electricity 2. Generator 3. Interior materials(after 3 years of use it looks very old) 4. Multimedia system!!! It works after the time as an old IPad1! Anyway, it’s a good car, but I don’t recommend you that to take in use for more that warranty period.

It's months that I am thinking about getting one, too bad that are unreliable, I guess either I make plans to resell the car before the 3 year warranty expire or get someting else (I keep cars usually 6 to 8 years since I use them only on weekends), my other alternatives were either an audi A1/a3 or a golf GTI (all in the same price range) I had several VW group cars and never had any particular issues, wanted to move to this since it's really "younger" compared to the old benz models, but I don't think I am willing to take the risk at this point! Lazar Popovic I am talking about new generations Mercedes (w213,205,222). The problems are similar, and this CLA, believe, will be more unreliable. Time will show it. We made a video (the last one) of C63s 2020. It has a 2.000 Km on odometer and the big list of problems! 1. The screen turns off while driving (ordered new one from the factory and still waiting (guarantee), the TURBO SYSTEM is BROKEN! Now instead of 510Ps it is approximately 400 HP, because turbos does not work( by the way, this problem has ALL 4.0 63 engines).3. While you are trying to close the window, it opens itself automatically. And this is the list in only 2000KM! Car costs more than 130.000$!
