  • Welcome to my 3200 sq ft home in Canada! This is a house tour of my childhood home and I've had so many amazing memories here. It has 4+1 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces and a lot of love baked in.
My dad designed this house and it was inspired by his love of light, wood, and nature. This is why there's exposed wood all around the house and tons of windows. The backyard has an extremely large garden as well as several fruit trees.
This Canadian home is an example of the kind of house you can get outside of metropolitan cities (like Toronto, Vancouver etc).
If you're reading this far I'll let you in on something I didn't mention in this video: after living in this house for practically my whole life, we recently sold it to another family. And I hope they make new amazing memories here and fill the house with love. This video isn't the best quality because I decided to make it at the last minute. This was my last trip to my family home and I wanted to make this video as a memento.

This house is huge but beautiful. I wonder how your parents managed to maintain it or keep it nice and tidy when you were growing up as kids. That's alot of rooms to clean!

My parents bought a 3240 sq ft home and it feels small so I am watching TH-cam videos to see what’s wrong 😅. Your home looks much more spacious idk what’s up.

I have a 3200 sq ft home in California and for some reason your looks a bit bigger than mine. We don’t have a basement

Most houses in Canada have a basement but we don't count basements when describing the square footage of a home.

Most houses in Canada have a basement. The foundation needs to be dug below the frost line in winter and at a certain point, you've already dug enough depth to do a basement, so you might as well finish the basement. However, in Canada we only count the space ground level and above in our sq ft. Basements don't count as part of the square footage of a house.
