To this model of Wenger, which has become untraceable, lacked the big flat screwdriver in line, or even the corkscrew. In addition, the sheath could have been better designed to accommodate a dozen bit.

I happen to love this one. the LMs and Swisstools are too large to be convenient for me. This one is truly pocketable. I still have my original SAK from 30 years ago going strong. Good steel in my experience. My brother almost destroyed his 2 LMs over the course of 3 years. If I need big pliers, I’ll get some pliers. LOL. I need this in my pocket! Thanks as always for your review.

Greetings! Thank you for the demonstration. Say, what is your opinion on these pliers/wire cutter compared to the ones on the swisstool spirit? How much difference in their capability?
The pliers are not very strong, you cannot apply a lot of force to them and the cable cutter is not very good: nothing to do with a Swisstool.

From experience, I knew that the Ranger Grip could not cut a multi-strand cable. I just tried it and I confirm it.

Did this Tool have a Flattened Marlin Spike? I dont think it did or you wouldve pointed it out, the picture of the one on amazon has a Marlin Spike/ruler not sure which is the updated one
This model, a Wenger, you will not find it anymore (except possibly on eBay). And Victorinox has not produced an equivalent model. The end of the reamer is rounded and hollowed out (cylindrical design), it is pointed but can be used as a marlinspike.

@@diezelle57 Thanks I was just wondering I am cool with the marlin Slike though from my years in USN Deep Sea diving we always had the "Spike Shaped" ones but I can see the use for the flattened one as a Ruler and shakel key so its all good, enjoy your videos and the Nature sounds I live in Guam I apprecaite the sound of Nature. @@diezelle57 The reamer is too sharp will damage the line jeapordizing its breaking/working load in the future , actually the end of the Pliers handle could slide in an loosen a knot in a pinch

Bonsoir. Comme je l'ai écrit, ce modèle de Wenger n'a pas été repris à l'identique par Victorinox et, à ma connaissance, on ne le trouve plus. Toutefois, il convient de faire une recherche régulière sur eBay, dès fois que ce modèle serait mis en vente; mais, soyez-en sûr, pas par moi ! :)

The multi-tool comes with two long bits only. But it is easy to get this type of bits.

Mate the sound is very important in these reviews believe it or not, because the sound of the tools snapping back into place indicates the quality of the backsprings, it's known as ''walk and talk'', this is especially the case with Victorinox knives
